The Three Types of Insurance You Should Not Be Without in 2010

Faith Dosier
There is always something we have to have, had to pay for, have the money for right. And what is that? Well that would be insurance. If you were thinking I was going to say the IRS, you can now let out a sigh of relief. I promise there won't be mention of the IRS again at least until January. However, I still reserve the right to allude, call the by a less formal name, or just hint their name. However, I will not say IRS again until January.

1. Auto Insurance

I know it seems like it is a no brainer but there are still plenty of people who forgo auto insurance. Nevertheless, insurance is most important especially when on a fixed or no income. Even the best drivers just can't account for the carelessness of others, or Mother Nature.

2. Life Insurance

Death may be far, far, off but who knows right? If you have, children make sure you get a policy right away. That way if something happens to you then your children will be financially taken care of. The up side is that the younger you are when you purchase a policy the lower the rates.

3. Renters Insurance /Home Insurance

Not a high priority but if you start to accumulate computers, video camera, cameras, TV's then it's best to get a policy. Someday you may be glad you did. No one wants to have to start all over if it can be avoided.

Those are the most important and basic insurance needs that you should have covered. It may seem like a lot but there all always discounts offered. Generally, most companies will small percentage off for carrying more than one type of policy with the same company. So overall, you'll end of paying less than retail. Remember that you are paying for coverage if something goes wrong. Chances are it won't but maybe once in your life it will and if you pay a small monthly payment over time that beats trying to start all over without the money to do.
