The Three Women in My Life

The moment we met was love at first sight,
and on this day we knew it was right.
This was a special type of love,
only the kind sent from above.
For this was the start of something grand,
and from this day on we'd go hand in hand.
The road of life was ahead of us now,
we would make it through no matter, no how.
We would grow together and learn new ways,
and sometimes have bad days.
A feeling so strong, a person so nice,
your presence felt like paradise.
Some hated moments, some to be blessed,
this was all part of the test.

We'd have our differences and maybe a fight,
but all said and done everything was alright.
Through those years we built a trust,
near or far this was a must.
I'd lead the path you'd trust the way,
then I'd need you to get thru the day.
In my moments of weak and times of strong,
I could count on you to help me along.
And who could this love be all my life,
my mother, my daughter and my wife.
You see when god chose the women for me,
he said "for you I'll give three".
Nothing gives me more pride than to be,
a son, a husband and a father like me.
