Almost hidden near the split intersection of Beach Blvd. and Atlantic Blvd, "The Thrift Store" is hardly unknown. With a simple and easy to remember name, it's one of the oldest thrift stores in town located in what appears to be an old Dollar Store in a not-so-fancy part of the city. This amazing thrift store is home to some of the best used clothing in the Jacksonville area.
Being a native of this town, I've been to my share of consignment and thrift shops. After discovering this special store, I have seen no equal. While it's collection of electronics and furniture may not be impressive, The Thrift Store boasts a huge array of fine quality clothing including men and women's wear from Van Heusen, Jay Ferrar, Banana Republic, Old Navy, Gap, Lane Bryant, New York & Co., Apt. 9, Express, Charlotte Russe, Aeropostale, American Eagle, and more!
There's no need to go to the mall and spend $70 dollars on a new, cute dress when you can get it at The Thrift Store for less than $20. In fact, I haven't seen a dress there with a price tag higher than $15. Most shirts, blouses, pants, and skirts run from $3 to $9. Organized by style and color, it's easy to find the exact piece you want. Come on certain days of the week and get 50% off color tags - Saturday is the best day!
Despite its shabby outer appearance and the reputation that most used clothing stores have, The Thrift Store exceeds all expectations! Located at 2624 Atlantic Blvd.
Jacksonville, FL 32207. Store hours are 9am to 6pm Monday to Saturday. To find out more about sale days, you can reach them by phone at 904-398-1580.
