The Tooth Fairy and the Girl

Steven West
The tooth fairy came to my house.

It was twelve o'clock, I think.

She ate five sugar cookies,

And had an ice cold drink.

She then got down to business.

My tooth was taken from me.

I said hello to the tooth fairy.

"I'm sorry but my tooth isn't free.

I want to receive some cash;

A five or ten will do."

The tooth fairy looked at me.

She laughed and said, "Boo hoo."

The tooth fairy sprinkled some dust in my eyes.

I immediately fell asleep.

I started dreaming of the tooth fairy,

But ended up counting sheep.

In the morning, I found some money.

I received close to fifty bucks.

I shouted, "Hooray for the tooth fairy."

Boy was I in for some luck.

I don't know if I'll ever see her again.

She was a beautiful and dainty girl.

For now, I'm happy I met her,

The tooth fairy named Sweet Pearl.
