There's Something About Mary (1998)
Ted is a high school student who is love with Mary, and he is about to take her to the prom. Before they can go, Ted gets his private parts stuck in his zipper, and he goes to the hospital. This results in Ted canceling his date, and he loses touch with Mary. Many years later, he still thinks of Mary. Ted is convinced by his best friend to find her again. What follows is hilarious schemes, all to win Mary's heart. In the end, Ted realizes that he can't trust anyone. This is a comedy that really makes you laugh out loud, and it's a classic.There are a few things that happen on screen that are shocking even to today's standards, but they are done all for comedic effect. It stars Ben Stiller and Cameron Diaz.

Dumb and Dumber (1994)
This film is about a pair of dimwitted losers, Harry and Lloyd. Lloyd is a limo driver, and he drives a woman to the airport. After dropping her off, he sees that she left a suitcase behind. In an attempt to return it to her, he grabs the suitcase and runs after her. It is too late though, the plane is already on the runway. Lloyd heads home with the suitcase, saddened that he will never see her again. The friends both lose their jobs on the same day, and they money they have to spend is what is left in their wallets. Lloyd tells Harry that the woman he met is heading to Aspen, Colorado. Someone knocks on their door, and they mistakenly think that it's the 'gas man'. Since they don't have any money to pay the utility bill, they decide to hit the road and return the suitcase. From the road trip to the ending, a bellyful of laughs are to be had here. Starring Jeff Daniels and Jim Carrey, these guys were made for this film. They play two clueless idiots perfectly throughout the film.

Death at a Funeral (2007)
A man's father dies, so he is in charge of the funeral. His family gets together at his house to pay respects to the deceased, and that is when the laughs really start. It seems that no matter how hard he tries to make things go smoothly, it ends up getting worse. It get to a point to where he is trying to calm things down, and everything is exposed in the end. It may sound strange that laughs can come from a movie about a funeral, but laughs are here by the casketful. Starring Matthew Macfadyen, Peter Dinklage, Rupert Graves, Kris Marshall, and Alan Tudyk.

Hot Rod (2007)
Rod is a wanna-be stunt man, who engages in amateur stunts in hopes of one day becoming a real stunt man. He has a team that helps him with stunts, and he wears a fake mustache. Rod finds out that his stepfather Frank is in need of 50,000 dollars for a surgical procedure. Rod decides to raise money for it by performing stunts. Much of the scenes in this movie are ludicrous and outrageous,- yet downright funny.. The acting and comedic scenes are top notch though. Starring Adam Samberg.

Me, Myself and Irene (2000)
A Rhode Island State policeman named Charlie is always being taken advantage of, and he finally gives into the anger building up inside of him. It comes out in the form of another personality, Hank. Charlie takes a vacation so that he can calm down and get back to being normal. After getting mixed with the Environmental Protection Agency, Hank starts to appear much more often. Between running from the law and trying to keep his sanity, Charlie goes through a lot in this funny film. It stars Jim Carrey, who's acting skills for two different personalities really make this film a joy to watch.

The Big Lebowski (1998)
The laziest man in California, "The Dude", has no aspirations in life. He drinks White Russians all day, and bowls with some friends at night-time. One day, two thugs break into his house and beat him up. They mistake him for another man that has his same name, Jeffrey Lebowski. The Dude goes to the real Lebowski and tells him what happened. Later, the real Lebowski contacts the Dude and asks for his help in getting his kidnapped daughter back safe. Can a lazy man really solve this case? Watching him trying to is what makes for comedy heaven. This comedy stars Jeff Daniels, John Goodman, and Steve Buscemi.

Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2005)
Ron Burgundy is a news anchorman for a news channel that airs in San Diego. He loves to drink scotch, hang out with his fellow anchormen, and party. He also doesn't like the fact that a woman is going to work with him side by side as an anchorwoman. And so the funny situations commence, with Ron Burgundy going to great lengths to protect his job. If there ever was anyone to play an anchorman/comedian, Will Ferrell is the actor for the job. This film stars Will Ferrell, Christina Applegate, and Steve Carrell.

Kung-Fu Panda (2009)
Po is a panda that works in a noodle restaurant with his dad. His real passion in life is kung-fu, and he is a big fan of the Furious Five, martial arts masters that protect China. They consist of a praying mantis, a snake, a crane, a viper, and a female tiger. Po hears of a tournament that will be held to select the Dragon Warrior, and he is picked by a wise old turtle. The whole town is is disbelief that Po is chosen to be the Dragon Warrior, and not even the master of the Furious Five can come to terms with it. Po is a fat panda, with no martial arts skills whatsoever. Po undergoes martial arts training, with the Furious Five having no faith in him at all that he will succeed. Soon, he learns the basic moves, and just in time. A dangerous criminal escapes from prison, and is after the Master of the Furious Five. Does Po have what it takes to become the Dragon Warrior and defeat the villain? Jack Black stars as Po, Angelina Jolie as Master Tigress, Lucy Lui as Master Viper, Seth Rogan as Master Mantis, Jackie Chan as Master Monkey, and David Cross as Master Crane. The voice talent is great, and the actors fit their roles very well. Watching Po training and interacting with the Furious Five is quite hilarious.

Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story (2007)
Dewey Cox is a country kid that likes to play with his brother dangerously. They have a machete fight and ends up cutting his brother Nate in half, right below the waist. After Nate dies, Dewey is sent to the store, where he meets a guitarist. He plays the guitar, and Dewey realizes that he has talent for playing the guitar. Later on, Dewey gets married and starts his musical career. This film makes fun of biopics, and mostly of the movie Walk the Line (2005). This film stars John C. Reilly and Tim Meadows.

Airplane! (1980)
This film is about a airplane flying in the air. The entire flight crew gets food poisoning, leaving no-one to fly the plane. Who will step up to the challenge of saving everyone's life in the air? Even though this film is a spoof of disaster films, the jokes are well told and timed perfectly. It may seem like it's an old film, but if you watch it side by side with today's spoofs, Airplane! is easily funnier. Starring Robert Hays and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
