The Top 10 Futuristic Action Movies - from Cyborgs to Alien Bugs

After a long hiatus, James Cameron makes his return this December with Avatar. Cameron is no stranger to futuristic action movies, though, so in this top 10 list, where do his previous films rank?

10. Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn (1982)

It wouldn't feel right to not include Star Trek and when it comes to Trek, it was at its best here, which presents James Kirk's rebirth from a midlife crisis to combat an old enemy.

9. Starship Troopers (1997)
Although this tale of humanity's war against giant insects promotes the opposite viewpoint of the original book it's based on, it's an intriguing satire in its own right, to go right along with the bug-blasting action scenes.
