The Top 10 Sexy Vampire List!

I'm a vampire junkie! I kid you not. Books, movies, mini-series; it's all good if it's about vampires. If the story happens to be well done, too, then I'm ecstatic! So in honor of all you blood-sucking vampire fans, I thought I'd run down a list of the top, hottest cold-blooded, drop dead sexy vampires I've run across. (In no particular order). Why? Because vampires feed our darkest sexual desires for mystery, rough sex, and being out of control and in danger. We wouldn't want this in real life, (most of us, anyway), but we can live it vicariously through good vampire books, movies, and made for TV mini-series'. I would have liked to provide you pictures to drool over, but they are all under copyright. The best I could do is link you over, rover!

1. Rudolf Martin as Vlad the Impaler - Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula. This movie came out on television and was released in 2000. This guy is hot! He's from West Berlin and speaks German, French, Italian, and English fluently. Who wouldn't want a multilingual vampire?

2. Gerard Butler as Dracula in Clive Owen's Dracula 2000. Butler's one hot commodity. He rocked later on as King Leonides in 300, but before he walked around in leather man-panties and a Roman red cape, he wore black leather and a flowing black trench coat while pursuing the daughter of his arch enemy, Abraham Van Helsing. He doesn't say much in this movie, but he looks so good, who cares?

3. Brad Pitt as Louie, a deeply depressed vampire in Anne Rice's Interview with the Vampire. Pitt plays melancholy to the max as a plantation owner whose wife died, and so he goes a little mad, tempting the fates which draws the attention of the vampire, Lestat (played by Tom Cruise, God help us! Why? Wasn't one big name in the movie enough?)

4. Okay, maybe it wasn't because Antonio Banderas plays one simmering and sexy vampire also in Interview with the Vampire. As the bi-sexual Armand, Banderas sulks and simpers his way into our affections. His attraction to Louie is undeniable, and therefore his plot to murder Claudia understandable.

5. There's no movie for this guy yet, but let me introduce you to Jean-Claude! Jean-Claude is the master vampire of the city of St. Louis in the book series by Laurell K. Hamilton, titled Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter. We first get a taste of the tasty Jean-Claude in Guilty Pleasures. This is a strip club owned by the sexy vampire where humans come to watch both vampires and shape-shifters bare it all on stage. The women are attracted to not only the hard bodies, but the danger they represent. I recommend this series of books ten times over for true vampire lovers.

6. Rob Pattinson as Edward Cullen in Twilight! How could I not mention my teenage heartthrob, Rob. As Edward, Pattinson steals our hearts with his old-fashioned, yet barely in control blood-thirsty ways. He's sweet, sensitive, romantic, and has great bone structure! Lovely.

7. Peter Facinelli as Dr. Cullen, also in Twilight. Dr. Cullen has such a gentle bedside manner, and is so darn handsome, who wouldn't want to fake a fever just to have him put his soothingly cool hand on their forehead?

8. Jackson Rathbone as Jasper Cullen - Twilight. Twilight really cranked out the hot vamps! Rathbone's Jasper plays it cool and somewhat uptight as he struggles to be in control of his seething vampire lust for blood. Let it out, Jasper. We don't mind!

9. Kellan Lutz as Emmet Cullen - Twilight. Cute, athletic, funny, and brutal. My kind of man!

10. Cam Gigandet plays the vampire, James in Twilight. He has a hard body, sexy lips, fatal fangs, and a cold, cold heart. Sadly, he dies in the first movie so we can only see him again in reruns.

11. Stephen Moyer as Bill Compton in the HBO original series, TrueBlood. Moyer is actually a British actor although he throws out an old southern accent on the show. Vampire Bill is deep, dark, and brooding to the nth degree. Despite his vampire ruthlessness, he would consider it quite rude to enter your abode without being invited first!

12. Alexander Skarsgard as the Viking vampire, Eric Northman, in TrueBlood. Eric is over a thousand years old, brutal, exacting, and very demanding. As the sheriff of the Louisiana territory, he is used to getting his way. Honestly, he wouldn't have to ask me twice! This man looks fantastico all naked and glowing white. And standing at 6'4", he can tower over me any day!
