But there are some fun things you can do with Legos, if you have the time, patience, and ohhh.... About half a million Legos.
Take a look at the Top 10 Strangest Lego Creations!
10.Lego Ipod Case. For a mere $49.99 you can be the proud owner of the Lego Ipod Case, only three hundred to be distributed! Check here
9.Hans Solo frozen in Carbonite. Ummm, yeah. It measures 70x30x10. Three months to build and about 10,000 Legos. Check it out
8.Volvo XC90 - Yes, a car, no you cannot drive it. It has been featured at quite a few car shows though. I haven't been able to find how many Legos this one takes, but you can see the car here:
7.Lego NES case. 30,000 Legos later, you too can have a great Nintendo case.
6.Lego Harpsichord. It plays, and weighs over 150 lbs. Made with approximately 100,000 Legos, you can entertain your friends with this beauty.
5.Pinhole Camera. Just like a real camera, with 35 manual clicks to advance one frame. This was made from a regurgitated Polaroid, and you can see it's parts and insides.
4.Knitting Machine. I'm guessing this was made by the poor housewife who got sick of stepping on the Legos, but didn't have the heart to DustBuster them up.
3.Lego Difference Engine. This one "wows" me - I'm still trying to figure it out. This is able to solve mathematical problems, which confuse me also. Take a look, and let me know if you can figure it out!
2.Air conditioner. Now this encourages me, to know that I too can take those little plastic pieces and turn them into something usable and affordable, unlike many commercial air conditioners now.
And the number 1 winner for Strangest Lego Creation goes to:
1.The Lego Pinball Machine. Using over 20,000 colorful Legos, two crazy Lego fans made this working pinball machine enjoyed by Lego and Pinball lovers everywhere. Check out the amazing photos and read all about it here
I'll admit, from now on when I puncture the soft skin on my foot with the hard little plastic pieces they call Legos, I'm going to think twice before I curse. There could be great fame and fortune with those little buggars!
