In Conroe, there are three place that spring to mind for a hamburger connoisseur like myself; Mc Kenzies's Burgers and Fries, Country Roads, and Honey Bee Ham.

Mc Kenzie's is a family owned business with a down home atmosphere. Walk through the doors and it's like you are in an indoor summer picnic with your friends and family. The burgers are phenomenal and full of flavor. You will not go away disappointed. They also have great specials like "Kids Eat Free" and "Buy one Burger get the second for $1" Check them out in Conroe, Montgomery or Huntsville.

New to Conroe is the Country Roads restaurant. Although they may be new, they are already on my list as one of the best burgers around. No one can accuse Country Roads of being all flash and no flavor. The décor is simple at best reminding me of a cast off of the Cracker Barrel. That aside, the food is mouth wateringly yummy! When I ordered a burger there, it was so big, I could not finish the entire thing, not for a lack of trying. If you want a burger that tastes like it just came off your barbecue pit, this is the place. They also have Poker Nights and server a mean breakfast. This place is going places fast!

Voted the Best Burger in Montgomery County, Honey Bee Ham serves gourmet burgers. Now, don't let that scare you away from having an awesome burger experience. When I was told they were the best, I was skeptical because all I knew about Honey Bee Ham was, well, ham. I was not disappointed. Hand patted burgers and beer battered onion rings made my day! Established in 1989, it has a small dining area since they do a lot of catering, so you may want to take yours to go. Either way, you will be glad you tried one of Honey Bee Ham's Gourmet Burgers.
