Zippy's Giant Burgers

Centrally located near South Seattle Community College in West Seattle, Zippy's Giant Burgers uses the freshest ingredients to ensure that each and every burger (meat or vegetarian) is scrumptious and enjoyable. The meat is ground daily for the best possible taste and the vegetarian burgers are made on-site using a special house recipe. Zippy's Giant Burgers is open Monday through Friday from 10:30am - 8:00pm and Saturday from 11:00am - 8:00pm. Zippy's is closed on Sunday. Cash only. Website: http://zippysgiantburgers.com.

Dick's Drive-In

Where else can you get a burger, shake and fries for less than a Venti iced coffee at Starbucks? Okay, so it might be a little bit of an exaggeration, but the point remains the same. Dick's Drive-In is the place to go when you're in the mood for a quick, inexpensive and delicious bite to eat. There are no veggie burgers served here, but the french fries are cut fresh and the milkshakes are hand-dipped just like in the old days. Located in Wallingford, Queen Anne, Lake City, Holman Road and on Broadway, Dick's Drive-In is always crowded and never leaves you dissatisfied. There is a reason people come here and it's not for the fancy attire and chandeliers. It's the burgers. The shakes and fries have legs to stand on their own as well, but the burgers keep people coming back for more time and time again. Dick's Drive-In hours are 10:30am - 2:00am seven days a week. Luna Park Café

Out of the three picks in this article, Luna Park Café is the only one where you can sit and stay awhile. For that, I give it a high recommendation and street cred. Unique from Dick's Drive-In and Zippy's Giant Burgers, Luna Park Café serves up an entire two-sided menu of options for every taste and hunger. The burgers are not to be missed at this nostalgic shop within walking distance to Alki Beach Park. Like salsa? Throw it on your burger. Would you rather an old-fashioned real ice cream shake instead of coffee to go along with your meal? Add that as well. In the end, you will leave content, full and wishing you had more to finish the rather large portion that was provided to you. Visit Luna Park Café between 7:00am - 10:00pm seven days a week.
