Fried Chicken
It makes sense that fried chicken is the number one meal ordered when people eat at sit down restaurants. It is not know if restaurants such as KFC are included, but many of them have areas where people can sit. However, fried chicken is messy to make and messy to eat. There are also the bones that have to be thrown in the trash. This has to be done immediately if dogs are in the house or in the yard as chicken bones are not good for them. Eating fried chicken away form the house and away from pets is something that is probably desired by many.
Roast Beef
Roast beef can easily be bought and cooked at home. However, there is something that always tastes great about roast beef from a restaurant. This is especially true when the roast beef is cut so thin that it is known as being shaved. It is not know if Arby's is considered a sit down restaurant, but the name did not come from "Roast Beef's." Rather it came from the initials of "Raffel Brothers," who founded the restaurant.
Spaghetti
There are a lot of sit down Italian restaurants. Some are authentic and others are more American. However, they all seem to sell spaghetti. While spaghetti is an extremely easy dish to make, it can be a messy one to eat. It is understandable that some people may want to eat spaghetti at a restaurant rather than clean the dishes at home.
Turkey
Turkey slices can be bought at a store and eaten. However, many people like turkey that is not pre-cooked or pre-sliced. While turkey can be cooked at home, it takes a long time to cook a turkey, as many people know from celebrating Thanksgiving. At a restaurant, the people eating don't have to cook the meal.
Baked Ham
Ham is another food that can be bought at the store. This food is easier to cook than turkey. However, restaurants seem to know how to bake ham well and give it a good flavor with the glaze or other seasonings. It is probably for these reasons that baked ham makes the top five foods ordered in sit down restaurants.

Interesting!
Also when turkey is cooked with stuffing, the stuffing must be removed immediately and that is a hassle.
Sad to say, I like them all.
