The Top 5 Freak Nasty NBA Players of 2010
#1) Kobe Bryant: Like it or not, this Los Angeles super star Point Guard has been a playoff machine since he was drafted in 1996-1997 season, he is the face of the Lakers franchise. Kobe Bryant entered the NBA at a tender age of 18 - right out of Lower Merion High School, he has been one of the few players to truly live up to his presumed playing potential. Kobe Bryant has been setting the NBA courts on fire and scorching opponents with his uncanny three point shooting, rebounding abilities, and phenomenal .462 Field Goal Average. Without a doubt Kobe Bryant has become the envy of the league, and he has become the poster child for modern day NBA players who has the most championship rings - presently standing at four for this new millennium. One of the most important factors that contribute to Kobe Bryant's outstanding playing abilities is that he has become an astute student of the game; he has perfected his weaknesses, and improved on his team leadership. Kobe Bryant will possibly lead his team into the playoffs this year, and could possibly win another NBA championship.
#2) LeBron James:What is there not to like about LeBron James? Not only does LeBron James give the NBA a boost of positive enforcement in a time where many NBA players are poor role models and not the greatest or exciting players. LeBron James is another new style proto-type NBA player, he is somewhat of an oddity because he is also another success story who left Saint Vincent-Saint Mary High School at the ripe age of 19 to go on and be selected in the NBA Draft in 2003. LeBron James sports Michael Jordan jersey number, a fitting tribute indeed for a player who has raised the Cleveland Cavalier fan base two fold. King James is a Power Forward who plays with elite power and graceful alacrity. Even though King James has not won a NBA championship, he is still young and talented enough to win two or three championships before he retires. The question will be if it will be with the Cleveland Cavaliers? Before it is all over, LeBron James may own the most points scored in NBA history, if he stays healthy, he may shatter the great Bill Russell scoring record, which in turn will make him a first pick to be elected into the basketball Hall of Fame.
#3) Tim Duncan: This quiet giant was selected in the 1997 NBA Draft, and he does not get as much air time as Kobe Bryant or LeBron James even though he has won three championships. Tim Duncan has been the face of the San Antonio Spurs organization since 1997. Tim Duncan is a Forward/Center who is not dominated by any player; he is a force to be reckoned with concerning his rebounding ability - and his intimidating presence on the court. Tim Duncan is one of the few players from St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands to become the most successful NBA players to represent his country. Tim Duncan has appeared in every NBA All-Star Game since his rookie year, making his Alma-Ata Wake Forest University most proud.
#4) Dwyane Wade: A premier Point Guard selected by the Miami Heat in the 2003 NBA Draft was what the Heat needed to take their game to the next level, Dwyane Wade was the missing piece of the puzzle to obtain a championship. In 2008 Dwyane Wade had one of his best seasons, acquiring 854 Field Goals, 1739 Field Goal Attempts, 30.2 points a game, and first place bragging rights accumulating 2386 points for the season. It is very clear that when Dwyane Wade helped lead his team to a championship in 2006 solidified his presence as a super star in the NBA, and his skill led him to be in the top five best of triple three shooters in 2010. Although D-Wade has been the face of the franchise, there seems to be trouble brewing in Miami where rumors of a trade keep surfacing, and talk of him and King James becoming teammates in 2011.
#5) Steve Nash: Die hard NBA fans are quite aware what Steve Nash has meant to the Phoenix Suns, their organization, and team image. Steve Nash was a 1st round 15th pick in the NBA Draft in 1997, the Phoenix Suns knew that this point guard could give their team the opportunity to obtain a championship, but he was prematurely traded to the Dallas Mavericks in 2008. In an odd twist of circumstances Steve Nash would return to the Phoenix Suns in 2004 to unite his new team members for a chance to compete in winning a championship ring. It has been six years since Steve Nash has tried to help his former team acquire a championship ring, and the anxiety of time may be his worst enemy where this great player and team leader may be running out of time.

Post a Commenti dont wat da haterz say but kobe is da best lose or win lakers fan always lakers fan
Lets see how the rest of the season plays out to see if these two players you mention will have a great year or a mediocre year.
Great list! I do agree with Eric, though. I think Duncan and Nash are in the waning years of their NBA careers. I would've liked to see Melo and Dwight Howard in those slots.
Thanks for leaving your comment on this NBA article, Carmelo is a great player, but I think these super star players have been more consistent in their NBA careers.
