The Top 5 Quarterbacks in the NFL by Passing Yards

Bo Thornton
The NFL is in full swing. It is already week 14 of the NFL season. There has been a lot of great quarterback play so far this season. Many have an outstanding passing yardage total already. The top 5 are listed below.

Peyton Manning

Peyton Manning has been one of the top players in the NFL for more than a decade now. It should come as no surprise that he is leading the NFL in passing so far this season. With 12 games played, Peyton Manning has thrown for 3,685 yards. He has also thrown for 35 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He has a great chance at throwing for the most yards this season.

Tom Brady

Tom Brady has consistently been one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL for a long time now. Currently, he has the second most passing yards in the NFL. With 12 games played, he has thrown for 3,638 yards. He has also thrown for 22 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has a very good chance at overtaking Peyton Manning for most passing yards thrown in the NFL this season.

Drew Brees

In the past three years, Drew Brees has been one of the most prolific passers in the NFL. Last season, he threw for more than 5,000 yards. That is one of the best totals in NFL history. So far this season, he has thrown for 3,536 yards. He has thrown for 29 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He has a fair shot at finishing with the most passing yards in the NFL this season.

Matt Schaub

Matt Schaub is a very consistent passer. He is a very talented quarterback, but has been bothered by injuries his entire career. With 12 games played, he has thrown for 3,449 yards. He has also thrown for 22 touchdowns and 12 interceptions. He has very little chance of throwing for the most yards in the NFL this season. This is because he suffered a shoulder injury in his last game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rogers is currently the fifth leading passer in the NFL. So far this season, he has thrown for 3,399. He has also thrown for 25 touchdowns and 7 interceptions. He has a very slim chance at overtaking Peyton Manning, but he'll have to have an amazing final four games to do it.
