This is a very lame article for visitors in Springfield. There is a Chilis in every town so that is not exciting. There is no Steak n Ale and that is not new to visitors anyway. Lamberts - canned food warmed up - like feeding hogs at a trough but at least it is a local thing. Very disappointed in the article. No help at all.
First ofall Steak n Ale opened in the late 1970s, not 1966 (in Springfield anyway).
Since mid December, it is Jimm's Steakhouse and Pub.
wow. has the person who wrote this actually ever been here? steak and ale has been gone for well over a year, no one eats at hemmingways any more, and every springfieldian stays away from lamberts because it is always so saturated with tourists it takes 2 hours to get seated. How about the grotto, or grad school, maybe brew co, or galloway station... i mean chilis? as if every city in america doesn't have one. why not applebees, or mcdonalds.
You should come in and check out the best bar in
i like ebbets field
Since Steak and Ale is closed I think you need to update your website.
