The Top Five Books for Young Christian Girls (Ages 4-10)

This book was a birthday present for my daughter, and she treasures it as a token of love from me to her. Moreover, it is a very non-intrusive way to introduce young girls to hygiene and changes in their body. Peanut Butter Friends in a Chop Suey World by Deb Brammer

This is a book my daughter has read over and over since I bought it for her in 2008. It about a young girl named Amy whose father is a missionary in Taiwan, and Amy finds it a difficult adjustment even in her English speaking school. This book is 180 pages long, perfect for any 9-11 year old who likes a good story but nothing hundreds of pages long. The author writes from experience living in Taiwan as a wife to a missionary.
