The Top Five Fashion Fall Basics and Essentials for Women

There are a few fall fashion wardrobe pieces that every woman should have in her closet. When considering these types of basic pieces, you always want something that is versatile. that's why choosing a few key pieces that will remain in style not only this fall, but for many falls to come is so crucial.

The Boot

Boots are always a fall basic and necessity during the fall and this is one item that you may considering spending more on. Choose something that is durable and that will last more than one season. Unlike other fall fashion boots, there is no enormous heel and they are both comfortable and stylish.

The Cardigan

Every woman needs an open cardigan in her fall wardrobe collection. These are not the kind of cardigans your grandmother would wear. Victoria's Secret cable knit open cardigan is sexy, fun and fashionable. It's perfect for those chilly fall days and comes at an affordable price, around $58. Leggings

Leggings are one of those fall fashion basics that truly never goes out of style. They have multiple uses and can be paired with just about anything. Skirts, dresses and over sized sweaters go great with leggings. Another great thing about this basic piece is the price. Sure there are expensive brand name leggings, but they not not really necessary. You can purchase these at just about any location that sells clothing for generally under $10, with the exception to jeggings, which will cost slightly more.

Cropped Jacket

All fall basics require a jacket, but the cropped varieties have many advantages over the other types. Not only are they fashionable but lend a slimming effect. This season one of the looks is that of the hardware. Intricate detailing can include metal buttons and other options. This jacket is also really inexpensive, some varieties may even cost less than $50. The ones available at www.overstock.com are really versatile and come in fabrics such as denim and cotton.

Sweater Dress

One fall basic fashion piece that cannot be overlooked is the sweater dress. This too can be purchased on the cheap side at places like WalMart. Despite the number of retailers that carry these items, Victoria's Secret also has a rather large selection and is one of my personal favorites when purchasing items such as this.
