1-Christmas in the Park- The park features a parade that brings Santa on 12/2 and Santa will also is available on weekends noon-3pm and 3:30-6 and 6:30-9pm. On weekdays 3-6pm and 6:30pm-9pm. Each visit with Santa for a picture is $3.
The park will have daily entertainment and refreshments. The park features the annual lighting of the Community Giving tree at 5:30pm on 11/23/07.
Location: in downtown San Jose at Plaza de Cesar Chavez bordered by Market street on the East and West side, San Fernando on the north and san Carlos on the south. The park is open every day including Christmas from 9-12am and remains open until January 8th 2008. Visit www.christmasinthepark.com for more information.
2-Double Decker Bus Tour of the San Francisco Holiday Lights- This is a sightseeing tour sponsored by City sightseeing San Francisco. The tour begins at Union Square where there will be the huge city Christmas tree. The next stop is Embarcadero Center which features lights from the financial district, views of the bay and Bay Bridge as well as an outdoor ice rink. The third stop is Barbary Cost which features brightly lit skyscrapers and huge atriums. The tour lasts about 75-90min.
Fees: Adults are $20 and children $15.
Times: Wed-Sun, the bus leaves at 6pm.

3-Annual Tree Lighting at Ghirardelli Square- Features special events starting at 1pm on 11/24 including stilt walkers, carolers, dancing, tree lighting ceremony. The tree is a 50 foot Spruce adorned with 2500 lights, and hundreds of oversized Ghirardelli Chocolate bars.

4- Pier 39's Holiday Harmony- Tree lighting of a huge Douglas fir adorned with 400 ornaments, 2100 lights, and 500 bows.

Three of your five are not in San Jose. I think this is a really bad title for your article. It is very misleading. In fact, I would argue that Lake Vasona is not in San Jose either, making only one of your listings actually in San Jose.
