I currently do this now. I have been an independent contractor for this company for 3 years. Basically, you will be doing customer service phone work. A customer calls an 800 number and then the calls are routed to your home phone number. You will be paid per talk minute. So you don't get paid unless you are on the phone. i love this forum,but i need urgent help i have high speed and a land line phone, but i do not have a updated resume because i have been a stay at home mom mostly all my married life and i do not get the job because i do not have a good enough resume, i have worked very little, which was a blessing at first but now 4 kid later i need a ongoing income,any advice please i need help!!! email burse29@gmail.com thank you!
ACD Direct has grown leaps and bounds since the initial post! More clients have been added and the calls have become more and more steady compared to what was offered in 2007

Work at home agent just as an FYI for everyone is doing away with some of their independent contractors. They are only offering job positions in certain areas of the United States.
i worked at liveops the most my check for 2 weeks $170 and i had to work 6 hours a day, scheduling suck, and the scripts are made to rip off people customers, and agent if you don't say the magazine stuff, time share, and shopping essentials or shopt to go after the upsells (which take about 15 min) you'll get fired. On the spot. i don't know how the scripts were approved.
