Post a CommentLast Sunday 10/09-2011 I paid $195 dollars to mlsmyhome.com to have my property listed on MLS and on realtor.com. I tried to call today multiple times (no answer) and then sent an email to them today asking when I can expect to hear from someone to get my property listed because I had not seen it listed yet. I got an email response saying "Please contact HousePad on this request." I responded with "What does this mean, "contact housepad"? I ordered a service from mlsmyhome.com." I went ahead and tried to call a few more times and left a message with my number asking for a call back to discuss my questions. I later received a response to the last email and it simply said "We do not sell any yard signs."I have not responded to this email. I did not get what I paid for or what they advertised and the customer service is unbelievably horrible. I'm very disappointed with the lack of professionalism and the total negligence displayed by not answering my questions or providing the service.
I had 2 realtors tell me most people start with the internet to find a home. I was thinking, "then why do I need to pay you $50,000?" This is a no-brainer, and the future of real estate.
Realtors do not like this! John n Tim...are YOU realtors? I was once one too...and realized this was coming. It is the future fellas. the only one to represent oneself IS ONESELF! given the proper tools to do it!....and flat fee listing fsbo...is a PROPER TOOL! Sorry, Abe, that 'sage advice' is not a credit in this instance!
Remember Abe Lincoln's sage advice. "He who represents himself has a fool for a client."
This article is a load of bull!
