The Top Five Secluded Beaches in the World: All the Beauty, a Fraction of the People

John Walton
I don't care who you are, everyone loves the beach. If you don't, then you just haven't truly experienced an amazing beach yet. The bright sun, endless blue skies, the sand beneath your feet, a cool breeze and the most crystal clear water you've ever seen will be sure to win over your heart. It's true, some beaches just don't cut it, but thats why I'm here, to fill you in on the most beautiful beaches in the entire world. Now i personally believe that an overly crowded beach can ruin even the most perfect spot, so this list will include only the best beaches that are not completely overrun by annoying tourists, which just makes them that much better.

Las Islas Cies, Galicia, Spain A visit to Las Islas Cies is a beautiful adventure across the Atlantic coastline of Galacia. The beach is a 40-minute boat trip from Baiona, but it is well worth it. Ceis is an uninhabited national park, open to the public in the summer season. There are not nearly as many people visiting as there are on the Mediterranean beaches of Spain, despite the fact that is a wilder, and more visually stunning beach. A flawless bow of soft, white sand backed by dunes which surround a calm bay of stunningly clear water make this beach one of the most eye catching in the world.

Palawan, the Philippines The Philippines is home to over 7,000 islands, yet only a small portion of the tourists as more populated areas. In fact, you can very easily get a boat and find your very own personal beach. This feature alone makes anywhere in Palawan a very choice location. So i know you may be thinking that this sounds to good to be true, and the beaches must be sub-par, but nothing could be further from the truth. The beaches are unbelievably exotic and tropical and are filled with wonderful sugar-white sand. You have to be there to believe it

Nungwi, Zanzibar, Tanzania The island of Zanzibar has around 30 beaches, all of which are stunningly gorgeous. The sand is supposedly so fine it actually squeaks when you walk across it. You pretty much cant go wrong vacationing anywhere in Zanzibar, but according to Gavin McOwan of Guardian Unlimited, the most jaw-dropping beach on the island is Nungwi. Near the northern tip of Zanzibar, he describes the Nungwi coastline as having a shallow slope, so that the sapphire water, white sand, and coral build-ups form a calm sea with stretches for miles.

Whitehaven, Whitsunday Islands, Queensland, Australia Whitehaven has it all. Clear, warm, indigo waters, tropical forests and ultra-fine white sand. It screams picture perfect and is simply the most amazing sight you will ever lay eyes on. If you do plan to visit, make sure you stay for longer than one day. Once the daily tourists leave, you can walk around the entire beach and feel like you have it all to yourself. Set up camp in the shade of the forest and stay on the beach itself for a few days!

Shell Beach, Isle of Purbeck, Dorset As i said before, this list is only for beaches that aren't over crowded, been there done that beaches. This may not be the most gorgeous beach, if compared the the others in the list, but it is one of the most relaxing beaches in the world. There is a huge amount of sand backed by miles and miles of dunes. Pick a spot and just let the day pass, watch the boats go by, relax.
