Halloween is often celebrated with people watching horror movies to pass their time. Perhaps it is a good time when you can sit on your couch with your friends. Turn the lights off and get ready for a spine-chilling experience that will send jitters to your body. Halloween 2009 has some great movies coming for the occasion. Here are a few of them:

Halloween II: Halloween II is perhaps the most anticipated horror movie for 2009. The predecessor of the movie was not a great success. Rob Zombie has returned with a masterpiece where he continued what Halloween I left. Michael Myers, the dead-killing machine, tracks down his sister to a hospital.

The Final Destination 2009: The Final Destination series concludes its last part. This 3D action-packed movie features death as a tool. A young person has a premonition about a racetrack freak accident. He warns the people and saves a few lives. However, death has come to haunt upon the survivors and will take away their lives. Can they survive from the claws of death? Go see the movie to find out!

Carriers: A group of four people drive to a journey through the American southwest region, where a contagious virus is on a prowl. Can they avoid the tragic fate that is waiting for them?

Sorority Row: A modified remake of The House of Sorority, the movie features the death of a fellow sister due to a sorority prank. A mystery figure pops out of nowhere and starts a killing spree. I guess you could compare it to something along the lines of I Know What You Did Last Summer. Will the movie live up to its name?

Jennifer's Body: Megan Fox stars in the horror-comedy movie of a woman who gets possessed with a demon. She starts to seduce the male population and devour them to zilch.

Pandorum: The movie revolves around two astronauts who awaken in space suffering from amnesia. They find out a spaceship that is full of terrible beings.

Night of the Demons: A group of kids party in a spooky mansion only to find demons waiting for them.

The Road: This is another much-anticipated horror movie for 2009. Vigo Mortensen, the protagonist in the novel from Cormac McCarthy, travels to a horrific place plagued with cannibals and violence.

There is a lot to watch during Halloween 2009. With Hollywood on an aggressive mode, you are sure to enjoy an amazing experience and a holiday.
