The first company I would like to tell you about is Holsteins Coffee Company. They are located at 811 East 3rd Street in The Dalles Oregon.97058. Their phone number is 541-298-2326. Their hours of operation are Monday and Tuesday 5 am till 6pm. And their hours Wednesday through Saturday are 6am till 7pm and on Sunday their hours are 6am till 6pm.
Holsteins has a drive through for those of you in a hurry or that has no desire to go inside. They offer a large array of coffee flavors from cappuccinos to mocha's as well as regular and decaffeinated coffee. Inside you will find they offer their guest seating and they have some wonderful choices in smoothies as well as low carbohydrate drinks.
Some of their specialty drinks you may want to give a try is their Kona Mocha as well as their Mexican Mocha Coffee. A large cup is 4.25 and a small cup averages around 3.00 dollars. For those of you considering bringing your computer along and having a cup of coffee they offer WiFi connections here as well.
They have a good atmosphere here for those who want to stop by and grab a morning muffin and a cup of your favorite coffee stop on by because this is a very clean establishment as well as having customer service oriented staff that generally cares whether you leave satisfied.
The second coffee shop I would like you to know about is Grinders Coffee. Grinders Coffee is located at 502 East 3rd Street The Dalles, Oregon 97058. Their phone number is 541-296-3553. Their hours of operation are Monday through Saturday 5am till 7pm. Then on Sundays they are open from 6am till 6pm.
This company has not been in business very long but doing quite well. They are constantly busy and you can tell their staff loves their jobs, because every time I visit they greet me with a smile and it appears they enjoy making their customers happy.
Grinders Coffee sales fresh bagels as well as their signature coffee. They make a mean espresso that is sure to be a favorite of yours as well. They have tables and chairs outside for your enjoyment and a drive through as well.
This company uses nothing but Stump Town Coffee for all of their coffee needs. They are 100% owners and not a franchise. They teach all of their new staff with a hands on technique that surely shows in their workmanship.
I love getting their White Mocha's as well as a fresh bagel from this shop when I have not had the time to eat. Their coffee is very reasonable and the menu has a variety of choices from Smoothies to kids choices as well as tea and other non coffee drinks.
My recommendation is for you to try their Turtle Mocha which is flavored with chocolate and caramel and a small cup is only 3.00 dollars. Their specialty drinks average around 2.00 dollars for a small and up to 3.50 for a large.
This Coffee Shop has it's on website so if you would like to find out more information or see the pictures of their grand opening visit them at www.grindersdrive.com. They also have a You-tube video that you can view from their web site as well from their grand opening.
This Coffee Shop is also known for their fruit bars as well as their cinnamon rolls. So if you are passing through and need a cup of coffee and have a sweet tooth then this is the place you need to stop.
The third coffee shop I would like to recommend for you is Petite Provence. This restaurant and coffee shop is located at 408 East 2nd Street The Dalles, Oregon 97058. Their phone number is 541-506-0037 and their hours of operation are Monday Through Friday 7am till 3:30 pm. Then on Saturday and Sundays their hours are 7:30 am till 3:30 pm.
This restaurant has an amazing espresso bar to get those one of a kind drinks that we all enjoy. This restaurant also serves the best breakfast items you can only imagine. They serve omelets and pastries and these are all home made as well as home made breads.
This is a go in and sit down kind of place that serves breakfast and lunch and some of the best tasting crepes I've ever eaten. If you want a great cup of coffee along with a home made flaky croissant then this is a must try.
This restaurant has it's on web page and can be located at www.provence-portland.com. The owners are from France and wanted to open a shop that offered the locals and visitors some of the best tasting food and coffee around.
The establishment is extremely bright and clean. The staff is very friendly and this is a great place to take the family as well. The location is perfect, because once you have an amazing breakfast or lunch here you can take a stroll up the town sidewalks and do some shopping.
Their prices range from 6.00 to 10.00 dollars for their breakfast and lunch meals. I recommend you try their crepes that are filled with mixed berries and dazzled with a creamy berry sauce. Try their espresso bar and get a surprise when they deliver it to your table. The taste is pure refreshing and only 3.00 dollars for a small cup.
So if you are looking for a nice sit down retreat to share a cup of coffee and pastry or croissant then Petite Provence is the one you'll want to try. But if your in a bit of a rush then you'll want to drive through Grinders Coffee where they offer great quick service. But Holsteins can offer either indoor or drive through services to meet your needs.
