The Top Three Must-See Viral Videos

Videos that Took the World by Storm

Rich Heltzel
Viral videos can hit the world by storm and make ordinary individuals super stars overnight. Although hundreds, if not thousands, hit YouTube and are included in email chains every year, there is always a handful that we will never forget. Whether they appear on talk shows or on news programs, you just can't seem to get away from the popularity. People show their friends and family and really it becomes part of the social media and pop culture. Appearing on T-shirts and coffee mugs, viral videos are more popular now than ever. These three videos are not only a must see, but shows how amusing, original and talented anyone can really be.

"Daft Bodie - Hard, Better, Faster, Stronger"

When first watching this video, you cannot help but thinking "how long did they spend practicing this routine?" This duo is very talented and would had to have quit their day job to find the time to learn the choreography. Not only is the song catchy, this original idea has created a storm of similar stunts that has spread all over the world with different songs and groups.

"Chocolate Rain"

I will bet that not only has everyone in America seen or heard about this video, they may even know the song by heart. With over 50 million views, this is the most popular on the list. Written by Tay Zonday, he did not expect to take the world by storm. The video is strange with awkward lighting and a voice that does not seem to match the body. Although funny, no one may ever know what he was really singing about. Tay has appeared on numerous talk shows such as Jimmy Kimmel Live and even CNN.

"David After Dentist"

We have all had an experience of feeling goofy after a dentist procedure or have been told that we should have heard ourselves talk. Throw a video camera and a 7-year old boy in the mix, and the recipe yields a hilarious video. That laughing gas really put him in his own world and is just plain cute. This is the funniest of the three and shows that you always need a video camera around your child. Most people may be stunned at first, but once you realize he is really OK, you can have a good laugh at something you can see your child doing. Who knows, maybe yours will be an overnight superstar as well.
