1- Heartland Antique and Art Faire event will take place on September 7^th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at Railroad Center off of Railroad Ave. If you love art and antiques, this is a perfect event for you. The event showcases thousand of antique items by local antique dealers along with hundreds of paintings by the local artists. In addition to art and antiques, the downtown Danville will be filled with dozens of food booths and local eateries. Heartland Antique and Art Faire event is attended by hundreds of residents from Danville and nearby cities like Dublin, San Ramon, Pleasanton and Walnut Creek. People attend the events not just for the antiques and paintings but also for live music, entertainment and the availability of fun activities for the kids. One of the attractions of the event is the Museum of the San Ramon Valley's antique appraisal clinic. 3- Eugene O'Neill Festival will take place from Friday, September 25 to Sunday, September 27 from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at various locations in Danville. The event is hosted by Eugene O'Neill Foundation whose mission is to celebrate and promote the vision and legacy of Nobel-Prize winning playwright, Eugene O'Neill and his great literary work. This event includes several seminars, exhibits, tours and live theater performances. The locations for these activities will be split between downtown Danville and at the Tao House where this great legend lived at the pinnacle of his career. 4- Danville d'Elegance event will take place on September 27th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at Hartz Avenue. This is the 5th Annual Danville Concours event where exotic marques, historic vintage race cars and motorcycles are displayed. Last year, there were over 200 cars and motorcycles displayed. The event is collaborated with car owners, sports car clubs as well as with the Blackhawk Auto Museum. 5- One of the regular year around event in Danville is its Certified Farmer's market. The Farmer's market is held every Saturday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Rail Road and Prospect Ave. It is a wonderful place for socializing and helping local farmers by buying fresh fruits and vegetables. Farmer's market is not just for selling fruits and vegetables; people can find flowers, plants, Indian or Japanese food, different types of honey, almonds, kettle corn and other delicious ethnic food. It is a great place to hang out, socialize, shop and enjoy live music featuring local musicians.
