The Tracy Anderson Baby Food Diet

Jennifer Aniston may be a grown woman, but she's been accused of acting like a baby. Not because of her actions - rumors have flown that she eats like a baby. Rumor has it that her personal trainer, Tracy Anderson, has her eating the Baby Food Diet to get her into incredible shape.

Tracy Anderson is one of the most famous trainers in Hollywood. She's renowned for getting women into exceptional shape very quickly, notably Madonna and Gwenyth Paltrow. And now it's become public just how she's helped these women shed their excess weight so quickly: Baby food.

The Baby Food Diet is exactly what it sounds like: a diet that consists of only baby food, or some dieters may include a single regular food meal.

Surprisingly, there are several benefits to the Baby Food Diet. Because baby food is meant for babies with less developed digestive systems, the food is pure. It contains less additives than regular food. Because of the way that baby food is processed, it contains more vitamins than processed adult food. Because of parents' demands for healthy and tasty baby food, there is a huge variety of foods that taste good to choose from. There is baby food that covers every food group on the pyramid, so dieters won't be missing any nutrients from lacking food groups. The small containers that baby food comes in are easy to tote around, they're spill-proof and can endure microwave heating when necessary. The small containers also ensure portion control.

There is a negative side to the baby food diet as well. Those small portions can cause extreme hunger, which may trigger overeating and weight gain. Since chewing is tied to the part of your brain that tells your stomach it is full, baby food may make it harder to feel satisfied at the end of a meal, since the food doesn't require chewing. The obvious con is that you would have to tote baby food around with you wherever you go and eat it instead of what's on the menu. Eating baby food in front of people is sure to result in several questions regarding your taste in food and the diet itself.

It appears that the baby food diet is a healthy diet as far as nutrients. However, it is also slightly bizarre for an adult to eat baby food. If you're not easily embarrassed, and you don't mind eating mushy foods, this diet might be the one for you. Otherwise, find another diet that doesn't require sharing food with infants.
