The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck is built to a 1:10 scale of a true monster truck, and comes ready to run. With it's 4 wheel drive capabilities, you can climb hills, sling dirt, and crawl rocks, just like the big boys. The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck is built with dual motors and can operate on dual speeds. These motors are each 14 volt Titan 550 high torque electric motors, that are fan cooled, and provide sheer power to their 5 spoke 3.2" tires. The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck also has a two speed transmission, twenty eight sealed ball bearings and a sealed gearbox, to prevent unwanted debris from damaging the truck's equipment.
The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck has a 4"ground clearance with eight oil-filled shocks that enable the operator to run it hard, without the fear of damaging it. Perform huge jumps without ever thinking twice about it, and take it through the most rugged terrain you can find. The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck chassis is a molded composite nylon tub chassis which allows for extra durability and includes battery cut-outs to lower the center of gravity allowing the vehicle to perform high speed turns without a problem.
The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck is not the fastest nitro powered RC vehicle, but you asked for a rugged all terrain vehicle. This truck can top out 30 miles per hours if two 7 cell battery packs are used, and 23 miles per hour if two 6 cell battery packs are used, still making it much faster than your average RC vehicle.
The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck retails at around $325-$350US with everything included, except 8AA batteries, two 7.2 volt racing battery packs, and the battery charger. If you want to use the monster truck as soon as you get it, buy the batteries first, and have them charged before bringing home the powerhouse Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck. Including the battery packs, this truck weighs in at about 10 pounds. The Traxxas E-Maxx RTR 4WD monster truck is durable, fast, and fun.
