John Sachem
The treasure box is an affordable meal program that is available to everyone on a tight budget. The box includes pre-packaged frozen food worth $75-$100. The mission behind the treasure box is to provide families and individuals with quality grocery food for just $30. For many families and individuals the treasure box is a positive solution in these tough economic times. Each box contains around 21-25 lbs of nutritious food including 10-12 lbs of protein, fruit, vegetables and side dishes. For more information about purchase and delivery go to www.treasurebox.org

How can they sell the treasure box for only $30? The treasure box purchases retail food in large volumes at a lower cost. This enables the organization to avoid all the different layers of distribution and deliver the food directly to the consumer. The treasure box has relationships with over 500 food manufactures. You can be assured that you getting store quality frozen food.

Nice info here friend. Talk about the "Fish & Loaves" kind of blessing. Great idea & what a compassionate thing to do for people...particularly as the poor have been hardest hit of all in this slump. Thanks! "Thumbs Up" here friend. : - )
