One of the most common plastic surgeries is Rhinoplasty. This surgery reshapes the nose to reduce or increase the size. This procedure can also change the tip or the bridge of the nose and narrow the span of the nostrils. Some people may also look into rhinoplasty to correct a birth defect or injury. People who may have breathing problems are also good candidates for this surgery.

Some people find it hard to go through life with a large nose because it decreases their self-esteem. It also may bring embarrassment as people will tease or even stare. It is harder for women to go through this; they will seclude themselves from others. They will often stay at home and not enjoy being in the public eye. This procedure will enhance your self-confidence and your appearance.

When rhinoplasty is performed inside the nose, there are no noticeable scars. Getting this procedure done to narrow flared nostrils, incisions are made during this surgery on the base of the nose. These scars are usually not noticeable. When this procedure is done to reduce the size of a bump on the bridge of the nose, there is no scarring. This procedure usually takes between one to two hours, depending on the extent of the surgery.

Some risks during this procedure are infection, nosebleeds, and problems, reactions to the anesthesia. Following your surgeon's instructions before and after surgery can reduce these risks.

Most health insurances will not cover rhinoplasty due to it being considered a cosmetic surgery. If you are getting this procedure done due to breathing problems or covering up a deformity. If these are the cases your health insurance may pay for the rhinoplasty surgery.

The cost for a nose job (rhinoplasty) usually runs $3800 and may vary with different surgeons. It is always best to ask your surgeon if their price includes anesthesia, medications, operating fees, and inpatient care. Do your searching to find the best one that fits your needs. This may seem like a lot for those who cannot afford this procedure. Checking with your surgeon about payment plans or ways you may be able to afford this procedure will change your life. After this surgery you will feel more confident as you will be ready to take on the world. You will never have to feel the embarrassment while you are in the public eye. This is actually a small fee when you consider what you are going through.
