The Tree from the Street Over
just on the next street over i can see a tree
this tree has been there all along but i could not see
just how beautiful this tree was to me
for some reason
god has recently given me the vision to see this beautiful tree
i can see it from the backyard
just as green as the grass around it
watered just right
the leaves sway as the wind blows
they shine in the light
and i think this is one of the most beautiful things i've ever seen
you have to be here to witness it's beauty
and you'd have to have a heart that loves nature as i do
to see it the way god intended
the tree from the street over
beauty so far but so near
and my love for it is so real
