Too long descending this banister of hope;
I pray for an end to this test.
Well worn and traveled of spirit and mind;
a teddy bear who's lost his eyes.
(for fear of what is next)
Fur rubbed down to skin.
Well loved,
yet full of grace.
I pray for an end to this test.
Well worn and traveled of spirit and mind;
a teddy bear who's lost his eyes.
(for fear of what is next)
Fur rubbed down to skin.
Well loved,
yet full of grace.
I walk these stairs;
cautious,
without a sound.
Perhaps I'll be given the chance to pass.
To touch the sky beyond the window
I can never seem to reach.
Always open.
I know you're there.
Exhilarate my heart;
but please God,
love me just a little less.

Wow and wow. I get it. The trials are difficult. I'm going through one myself with my health at the moment. God is making us stronger but there are times we wish he wasn't grooming so much. Keep up the good work Sheila. You are gifted at this.
