The Trinity

My sister came up to me and said,

"Bro, some one is trying to shake my faith!"

I said,

"My sister, faith that feels a shake is not faith! You ARE indeed in doubt."

Then in guilt she looked towards me and said,

"I believe in the Trinity, but I am taken back when I am questioned on matters like that. I feel so incapacitated when I fail to produce a relevant and logical answer although I know that faith is against all logic."

Reflecting on my past I found a common ground on which we both stood; DOUBT. I was a doubter too due my curious nature but today I'd say that faith has more logic than logic itself.

Then I said,

"Sister, it is not wrong to doubt but do not sweep doubt under the carpet, for it grows into worse things. You see the Trinity is not entirely a mystery. It simply can't be explained for we have not enough words to describe its dynamics or all its dimensions, yet we can demonstrate or describe it's reality through using common logic and reasoning.

The Trinity is very much like the SUN.

Look at the sun and what do you see?

Precisely, light = electromagnetic waves possessing a frequency that is visible to the naked eye.

What do you feel?

Great, heat = radiation.

And what you do not see?

Gasses that constitute for the explosions and flames that make the sun shine brightly in the heavens. = Energy and its source.

You can always see the effects of energy but that does not mean you are looking at energy itself does it? Well in a way you are.

The SUN is forever ONE (energy) and it is completed in the existence of three the three separate but interelated states or effects.

All three are one and they are not three separate parts that congregate to form one thing but one thing that has three separate effects in existence.

This is the same God The Father, The Son, The Holy Spirit. They are one and not three but they are three that complete ONE.

Remember, " Hear O' Yisrael, The LORD Your GOD is the one Lord!"
