The Truth About Purchasing Kia Cars

Katy Biondo
A lot of college students and other people needing a cheap down payment and then a monthly car payment were checking into a sweet deal that the Kia people had to buy a brand new Kia and many people fell for it too. The saying was that for just seventy five dollars down and then seventy five dollars a month you could be the owner of a brand new Kia. Now, these Kia's have their up sides as we look at how awesome these cars are from the outside. They drive well too. So, while people got their hopes up and signed themselves into an agreement, they weren't told up front about the stipulations of the seventy five dollars down and seventy five dollars a month.

What they don't tell you up front is that the seventy five dollars down payment and then the seventy five dollars a month is only good for up to six months. After six months, they jack up your payment and if you miss a payment they double your interest. So, a good deal? I think not. I think this is also false advertisement. We found this out when my soon to be sister in law was looking into the so called deal. Sure that much money per month would be pretty easy to come up with, which is why everyone likes the deal so much since the economy is the way that it is. Yet, like other things it was too good to be true.

So, how much would you have to spend in order for a brand new Kia? Well, I was looking into it. For a brand new 2007 Kia the total amount you would be looking at to pay it off would be close to twenty thousand dollars. Now, that would be one steep payment after they charge you the sweet cost of seventy five dollars down and seventy five dollars a month. Now, wouldn't it? So, if you ask me it's a scam and the six months that you feed your seventy five dollars into it won't even put a dent into what you totally owe for the brand new car. So, there you have it. It is just one car scam among many other car scams that are out there. Let this be a word of advice when you have a low payment like this, just remember to look into the full amount of time you are given the deal because normally when they have the down payment and then the monthly payments low like that it is only for a short amount of time.
