Then there were the weight loss exercise plans, I will be willing to lay odds that you have tried a few too. Now gyms are full of some fairly friendly people, but I had enough of the locker room when I was in high school and you probably had a bit of that too.
Not to mention, that you probably do not want to have to buy some fancy home gym stuff and then have to find a place in your house to put it. I like my living room the way it is, and to rearrange the whole thing would be a giant pain in the lower part of the body (if you guess the meaning).
Lastly, nobody likes to starve and you probably do not want to have to try to starve yourself to lose weight. Now here is a confession: I love my cheeseburgers, I am a cheeseburger addict and connoisseur, and you may be in a similar situation in that you do not want to give up the food you love just to try to lose weight again.
So what works to lose weight and keep it off?
One key that I have found is the timing of eating your food. Breakfast is an absolute must! Do not ever skip breakfast, now you might start offering excuses about now, something about no time for breakfast. (I used to do the same thing) Just get up a little earlier to have time for breakfast, if that cuts into your sleep time then go to bed earlier. I learned that to get my six hours and breakfast required a bit of planning.
There is no excuse to stay up late, I used to think I had to watch the news, well there are so many ways to record TV nowadays that to even hint about them would require many more pages, and that is not what this is about. If you want to have successful weight loss you have to plan to eat breakfast. Record the news and then watch it at breakfast, this also has the advantage of fast forwarding through commercials.
There is so much more to talk about but there is only limited room on this page. You would love to learn about eating yourself thin, and ways to have fun while losing weight, and a sensible way to keep your weight loss for the rest of your life. So for now, this is my greatest piece of advice; eat breakfast, not some cardboard tasting cereal, but some good stuff like what you used to eat as a kid. You will be on the path to weight loss, and then it just gets easier after that.
