Operated by certified instructors, the Tumble Bus is designed to help young kids develop coordination, strengthen muscles and bones, develop gross motor skills, teach rhythm, and improve perceptual motor skills. All of this is done while they listen to children's songs that play over the speakers. They will be running around having so much fun that they will be sad to see the bus leave.
There are so many different activities for the children to enjoy on this bus that you will be amazed. I liked how they used a couple of handles at the top of the bus for three separate activities. First, there was a set of rings screwed into the handles that the instructors used to help the children do flips and hang from. Then the rings were taken out and the instructors put a ladder on the screws and the kids were able to climb to the top of the bus. Finally, they screwed in a rope with knots and the children were once again able to climb to the top of the bus. Climbing to the top and touching the ceiling of the bus seemed to give them a great feeling of accomplishment, and made them feel like they were 10 feet tall.
The pit filled with balls was another big hit with my nephew and his friends. There was even a mini vault that was set up beside it. Some of the older kids vaulted into the pit while others just jumped in and started playing. They buried themselves under all the balls and crawled around looking for one another. The instructors were there making sure nobody was injured the entire time. Just like the one at Chuck-E-Cheese, the pit was one of the activities the children enjoyed the most.
After all of the running and tumbling was over the instructors gave the children a medal ceremony. They had a padded medal stand and put each child at the top, gave them a medal, and took their picture as their arms were raised in victory. While this was going on the Olympic theme music was playing in the background. After they had all received their medals, the instructors then took a group picture of all the champions. Speaking for the children, I would say the Tumble Bus was "lots of fun."
