"The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1" stuffed the turkey over the Thanksgiving weekend, remaining in the top spot at the box office coming into the 2011 holiday movie season

Starring Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, as well as heartthrob Taylor Lautner, the latest in the Twilight vampire series finished the weekend with $12.5 million on the first day of the extended weekend, Wednesday, $7.8 million on Thanksgiving day and $17 million on Black Friday. Overall, the movie was forecast to take in $62.3 million over the weekend, but came up slightly short at a still-considerable 42 million.

While the latest Twilight movie has certainly seen its share of fan hysteria, seeing the movie apparently comes at no small price. Some reports indicate that the first "Breaking Dawn" installment have caused a number of problems, most notably surrounding Bella's birth scene. Brandon Gephart, from California, is reported to have been taken to a local emergency room after having suffered a seizure while watching the talked-about scene.

Far from being a problem exclusively to do with the particularly bloody scene, it appears that the old video-game warning should have been given. With rapidly flashing lights, Brandon found himself "convulsing, snorting, trying to breathe."

"I didn't really remember what happened after that I think I blacked out. According to her (his girlfriend, Kelly Bauman), I was shaking and mumbling different noises," Gephart told ABC News while recovering.

Summit Entertainment has as yet declined to comment on the situation, which may be spreading further than "Breaking Dawn" producers would like. While choosing to remain unnamed, another Twilight fan found himself experiencing seizure-like symptoms, though apparently less severe.
