The Twilight Sagas: New Moon Review - Bring Your Boyfriend and Enjoy

Canbek Diril
The Twilight Sagas: New Moon movie was surprising good. Going into the movie prepared to watch a movie aimed at teenage girls, you will still be entertained and happy with the movie.

Entertaining: 8 out of 10
New Moon did something right. Other than having half-naked males in the movie, the movie would still be good without them. The fight scenes are enough to distract most of the guys in the theatre but most likely they'll secretly be paying attention all throughout.

Drama: 7 out of 10 (Mini Spoiler Alert)
Most of the movie had the same idea throughout; Jacob wants Bella, Bella teases Jacob - rinse, lather, repeat. This got annoying by the end and thankfully there was a change. New Moon did have me relating to the movie, thinking what I would do if someone treated my girlfriend that way.

Story: 9 out of 10
Watching New Moon, I finally understand the whole concept of choosing team Jacob or team Edward. They worked it into the movie very well and made it very enjoyable. There's more to it and I will probably go see the next movie to find out how the story ends.

Boring: 2 out of 10
As a male reviewing New Moon, I have to admit that I was surprised that I didn't get bored in the movie theatre. I did get distracted once or twice and the movie lost my attention but they grabbed it back fairly quick.

Acting: 6 out of 10
The acting was passable. Nothing great - actually there were some really bad parts. At times you can clearly see that they were trying too hard. When the character was mad, it just seems fake. Emotions were the most poorly performed in the movie.

Overall: 7 out of 10
Go see New Moon; there's no reason not to. The movie is enjoyable and won't leave you disappointed. It could have been better though. Waiting for DVD or Blue-Ray isn't a bad idea either, but expect to wait awhile and be left out of the loop while New Moon has the current cinema spotlight.
