Mumbai terrorist attack have passed almost one year and still the wound is fresh when we hear of fresh terror attacks planning by Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) leaves us to think that the world will never change. Similarly Pakistan's attitude towards India will also never change. It is sad to note that the people who hatched Mumbai terrorist attack are free and they are again plotting for a fresh attack.

No change in Pakistan attitude
After India bleed for 60 hours, by Mumbai terrorist attack and in spite of much Indian evidence Pakistan's attitude towards India has not changed. India asked for credible action to bring the perpetrators of terror attack to justice. And India asked for credible action to dismantle the infrastructure of terror from which attacks had repeatedly been launched in India.

There is no change in Pakistan attitude towards India. Pakistan feels western border towards Afghanistan are bad terrorist and its eastern part towards India are all good terrorist and they are freedom fighters.

According to Mr.Tharror, "The good terrorists are the guys who go off and bomb Indians, and kill Indians in India. And the bad terrorists are the ones who attack Pakistani interests, whether in Afghanistan or inside Pakistan,"

What you sow that you reap
Pakistan must understand one thing what it sows that only they must reap. If Pakistan assists and encourage terrorist, the same they have also to face. Eachday you read news of Pakistan terror attacks within its own country.

CIA and ISI
According to the latest news in CNN CIA pumps millions of dollars in coveted way to ISI and turn ISI gives information of terrorist in its western border. It is a good tactical move to get information which CIA wants. But one thing CIA is forgetting some of its dollars are being diverted against India. It has been observed that ISI and Lashkar-e-Taiba have close relation. ISI helped Lashkar-e-Taiba to become a more effective terror outfit.

India's peaceful commitment
Indian Prime minister Dr. Manmohan Singh "has repeatedly said to Pakistan, you take one step, we will meet you more than half-way," he said: "It takes a lot of political courage to do that when you're talking about a country from which assaults like the Mumbai massacre have been launched against us."
"All we're asking is for Pakistan to show us enough good faith, and it will be reciprocated with generosity and conviction on the Indian side."

Therefore, Pakistan must understand that in order to have peace in region it must take very firm steps and actions to catch those responsible for Mumbai terrorist attack. India is not interested in being a threat to Pakistan or any other country. We Indian are basically peace loving people.

Amen especially to your "what you sow you reap" section. Great articles lately, Jayanti. I regret not having time to leave comments on all.

For peace to truly exist in the world, people must want it. The saddest part of this is that there will always be those who want to overtake others and the innocent lives lost will continue to spill their blood in the wake of these horrendous events. My heart breaks for the people who want peace so badly. Cheers.

So much time wasted on war events. Imagaine what would happen to this region if peace were allowed to flourish. Excellent piece and so sad!
