1 cup All-Purpose Flour
2/3 cup Granulated Sugar
1/2 cup Powdered Cocoa
dash Salt
3/4 cup Butter
2 Eggs
14-ounce can Sweetened Condensed Milk
2 teaspoons Vanilla
2 cups Chopped Pecans

Directions for The Ultimate Chocolate Nut Cookie Bar Recipe

1
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
2
Add all of your dry ingredients to one large bowl and mix until everything is well combined. Melt the butter in the microwave for 30 seconds and add to the mixture. Mix in one of the eggs and stir until it has a slightly crumbly texture.
3
Pour the mixture into a 13-by-9 baking pan. Gently pat the mixture down onto the bottom of the pan. Place the pan in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly brown and firm.
4
Mix the condensed milk, egg, and vanilla in a small bowl. Add the pecan pieces and stir until coated in the mixture. Remove the pan from the oven and pour the pecan mixture over the top.
5
Bake for 25 minutes or until the top is set and light brown. Remove the pan from the oven and let the cookie bars cool for several hours. Cut the bars into smaller, equal size pieces.
Tip
Walnuts give the chocolate cookie bars a slightly different taste.
