The Ultimate Fighter 11 Ortiz vs. Liddell Episode 10 Recap

Tito Ortiz pulls out of the fight with Chuck Liddell. Chuck Liddell is angry and does not like Tito Ortiz. Dana White tells Chuck Liddell he is still going to fight after the show. Tito tries to explain himself to the television cameras. Weigh in for the fight between Jamie Yager vs. Josh Bryant. Yager looks like he has the big advantage over Bryant. Yager is a great fighting specimen, but he likes himself too much. Personally, I do not like fighters who love themselves too much. Josh Bryant is a good person. I like good fighters who are good people. I am not sure if Bryant matches up well against Yager.

Fight Day-Round One-The two fighters step into the ring. Yager is confident. He believes he is much better than Bryant. They advertise Liddell's fight against Rich Franklin in UFC 115 before the fight begins. Yager is taller and bigger than Bryant. It looks like a mismatch. Bryant hits Yager with a good right hand. Yager misses with a wild head kick. Yager kicks Bryant to the body. Bryant hits Yager with a body punch. Yager knees Bryant in the body again. Yager kicks Bryant in the back of his shoulder. He does it again. Yager misses with a wild upper cup. He kicks Bryant in the groin accidently. Ouch! The fighters are dancing instead of fighting. Yager peppers Bryant's legs with kicks. Bryant knocks Yager down on the mat with a good right at the end of the round. Round one was filled with missed kicks, missed punches, and too much dancing. It could have been an even round.

Round Two-Bryant has strong punches. Yager has the size and the reach. Yager also has awesome kicks. Both men missed too much in the first round. Bryant connects with Yager's groin. Ouch! Groin kicks are even. Bryant connects with a few good punches. He throws Yager on to the mat. He has the advantage on the mat. The two men stand up. Yager gets the back of Bryant. The two men jump back up. Yager is a good fighter but misses many of his punches and kicks. He is too wild. He is talented but wild. The two men throw a bunch of wild punches in the middle of round two. Bryant knocks Yager down with another good right hand. He elbows Yager in the head when he is on the ground. I am not impressed with Yager. He does not use his talent well. Bryant did most of the connecting in round two. He hits Yager with a flurry of elbows to the head. This fight is a draw.

Round Three-The fight has been a surprise. Bryant has fought better than I thought. Yager has thrown too many wild punches that have missed. Yager cannot come out for the third round. He lost the fight. This has to be embarrassing for Yager. Liddell says Yager is just like Tito. Both fighters quit. Dana White was surprised Yager quit. Tito is grumpy. A bunch of F bombs is thrown back and forth between the two teams. Yager is now considered a sissy. Ortiz is angry at Yager. Nobody wants Yager in the UFC. This is bad news for Yager.

Dana White has a talk with Tito Ortiz. Dana White has a doctor's appointment for Tito Ortiz. He wants a second opinion. Dana White kicks Tito Ortiz off the show. He does not want Tito on the show. He fires Ortiz. This is awesome. I love it. Tito drives off into the sunset. Dana White and Tito Ortiz never liked each other. Tito did not say anything to his team. He just left. Dana White has to talk to Tito Ortiz's team. Dana White has to tell Tito's team what happened. His team is shocked and awed. They are disappointed with Tito Ortiz. A new fighter will come in to take over the show. Again, this is awesome. Tito's team is hurt because Tito left without saying a word to any of them. Tito comes back to see his team. I guess he decided to act like a man after all. Tito's team feels better because Tito Ortiz came back to say goodbye to all of them. Good for Tito, he acted like a man in a bad situation.

The fight announcements-(Brad Tavares Vs Court McGee) Fight number two will be Chris McCray Vs Josh Bryant. Rich Franklin will be the new coach. This is awesome. Rich Franklin is a great UFC fighter and a great person. He should do some good things with Team Ortiz. UFC 115 is set it will be Rich Franklin vs. Chuck Liddell. I like both fighters, so it will be hard for me to choose a side. I hope they have a good fight. I hope they respect each other on the rest of the show. This has been a very strange and interesting episode of The Ultimate Fighter 11.
