The Ultimate Fighter 11 Team Ortiz Vs. Team Liddell Let's Get it On

If you like the UFC, you most likely watch The Ultimate Fighter. Can you believe we have made it to season 11? It seemed like only yesterday when Forrest Griffin and Stephan Bonnar beat each other up for three rounds. This is the series that put the UFC on the map. When Forrest Griffin eeked out a win against Bonnar in season one, mixed martial arts finally found its way on to the pay per view map. Now we have made it to season 11 of the Ultimate Fighter. This year it will be Team Ortiz vs Team Liddell. It should be an interesting year considering the history between these two former UFC superstars.

The first episode ran on Spike Wednesday night at 10:00 pm eastern. The series started out with a bang, or should I say a series of beeps. Dana White spit out nearly a dozen F bombs in the first thirty seconds of the show. White may have broken his own record for most F bombs in the first thirty seconds of sports television. Good job, Dana White. You may eventually earn yourself a "Razzie" award in 2010. Keep up the good work. We are proud of your intellectual abilities. Back to the show.

This years Ultimate Fighter show should be at least as interesting as the past ten. We have ourselves a new UFC gym for the 14 contestants to work out in. We have two former champions in Chuck Liddell and Tino Ortiz who have a past fighting each other in the UFC. We have 14 new fighters who we have never heard of. Some seem to be filled with a bunch of talent. Others, who knows. On episode one of the Ultimate Fighter, there were fourteen fights in one hour of television to pick the contestants. The contestants are.

1)James Yager- a cocky guy with a huge afro, who quickly knocks out his opponent with four hard kicks to the head.
2)Brad Tavares- who knocks out his opponent with a hard knee and a right hook to the jaw
3)Kris McCray- who dislocates opponents shoulder with a nice throw
4)James Hammortree-who makes his French opponent (throw up another white flag) at the end of the first round
5)Chris Camozzi wins a decision is the most compettive fight of the night
6)Kyacey Uscola wins with a nice KO in 23 seconds
7)Nick Ring
8)Kyle Noke
9)Curt Mcgee
10)Joe Henle
11)Rich Antonio
12)Greg Bryant
13)Charles Blanchard
14Clayton Mckinney- wins with a technical KO over his best friend

At the end of the show, it is announced next week the new teams will be chosen. This year will be a little different. There will be two wild cards Who Dana and the two coaches will decide. It will be fighters who lost, but fought a good fight. These two (wild card) fighters will fight each other and will make it to the quarterfinals.

This year's Ultimate Fighter should be another entertaining addition to the Ultimate Figter series. And there are questions that must be answered. How many times will Dana White use the F word this season? Will Tito Ortiz and Chuck Liddell fight each other after the show? Who will the wild cards be? Who will get injured or act like a jerk and get kicked off the show? Will this years Ultimate Fighter be as entertaining as the first? Who will be the one or two fighters in this group of 14 who will make their marks in the UFC? Check in each week on Spike Tv. The show will be on every Wednesday night at 10 PM.
