The United States of America Vs. 2009

At the beginning of every New Year people wrestle with resolutions, governments do their best to inject hope into the future and corporations find ways to push their products and services.

There are times in human history when wild cards trump a gentle transition of the annual calendar update. We are preparing to enter into such an unchartered territory. Both optimism and pessimism exist at the extreme ends; the reality will be decided by the choices people make. Those of you who are still mired down by the non-involvement mantra of "What can I do, I'm only one person?" need to be reminded what one person has done in the past? Remember, Jesus, Buddha, Ghandi, Mother Theresa and of course the dark side of the 20th Century, Hitler and Stalin.

So what do we have in store for our immediate future will it be another Stalin or Jesus?

Faith aside, what are real signs of change in 2009? How about those tea leaves, tarot cards and prophets?

This article will take a look at a cross section of both sides and see what stands a good chance of becoming reality for those residing in the US of A. Also, how we will impact this planet and others. This article will have references but for Pete's Sake, extensive footnoting is out, this is forecast of the good bad and the ugly, get used to it.

For those that want to know, we will take a look at a few cornerstones of change in 2009. Regardless of your place in the food chain, you all might want to fasten our seatbelts for this ride.

These cornerstones, 1) National Economy 2) War, Terrorism, military commitments, 3) Energy and the transition from a Petroleum based economy 4) Science, Medicine and Technology, 5) Space the final frontier, and 6) Mother Nature, Global Warming.

The National Economy

The national economy is a bit like a major train wreck in a heavily populated area. In reality such a train wreck would get massive emergency response, those endangered would be moved away until the hazardous material could be contained. With this economic train wreck, we've been told to stay home, stay asleep, don't worry and above all, don't even stop any additional train traffic. A pileup and mass casualties is inevitable.

While there may be those among you that think that analogy might be a bit of an exaggeration, consider what we have been told.

No doubt we are all a little amazed at how hundreds of billions of dollars are being created for US banks and a few billion for US automakers who seem eternally stuck to status quo flypaper. Perhaps they honestly believe we should be content with 45 miles to the gas gallon?

While it may come to shock to some, most of the news media have actually treated this whole episode very carefully. They have chosen to probe very lightly. One notable exception seems to be Fox-TV-News. On Dec. 30, Bill O'Rielly announced Fox-TV had actually filed a law suit over a FOIA request (Freedom of Information Act) requesting the US Treasury Department to disclose just how it was going to use this so-called Bail-out money.

Historically, when fishy financial or other major tragedy occurs in a country, a clear, usually pre-ordained scapegoat is offered to the public. The classic being the 1933 Reichstag fire in Germany right after Hitler took power. This enabled the scapegoating and arrest of 5,000 people immediately (they already had a list ready to go) with other potential opposition fleeing for their lives.

In 2008 America, the general public was cleverly offered several scapegoats and a scenario of how it all just mysteriously blended together. The standard government and media line you heard blamed it on those greedy mortgage brokers, bankers and even homeowners who signed onto loans they couldn't possibly pay. We have been told this all combined with a perfect financial storm which had to happen since values were over inflated anyway.
To keep it really simple the Bush haters no doubt believe it was all the fault of George Bush.

What you will not hear from the media is that from the beginning to the end it was not an accident but an elaborate design with a payday in the hundreds of billions of dollars. If critical thinking ever became part of the media the phraseology would definitely gravitate towards a "conspiracy" of mega proportions. Gee, we've been told often enough that the very powerful and elite that rule would never engage in anything like that. Or would they?

First in order to stimulate the economy and make housing available to people of lower incomes, President Bill Clinton passed a bill to incite bankers, mortgage brokers and the whole home loan industry to take bigger risks. The fuel to this fire came from the Federal Reserve, the seat of this nation's wealth and the place you will end up if you keep following the money.

Lowering interest rates, making more money to loan and encouraging with their left hand faulty financing. With the green light on, the other hand, warned this situation could be a major problem in the future. A search of the Internet for ex-Fed Chairman's Alan Greenspan's comments in 2005, while laborious to read, were real warnings about the mortgage loan crisis.

As mentioned earlier disclosures about these massive transactions and who gets what and exactly how much and how it is being used will likely not be front or back page news. You will once again be told to trust those nice suits in Washington; after all, there is no conspiracy.
In the waning months of 2008, the Fed once again stepped forward to take advantage of the situation.

On NPR (National Public Radio) on September 18th, Barney Frank, Chairman of the House Banking and Finance Committee said, "Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke admits to having 800 Billion Dollars to do with as he pleases". Frank also mentioned that the Fed might actually be purchasing AIG. A few intrepid reporters actually began asking questions like, "where does the Fed actually get its money? How do they earn it? When Shephard Smith of FOX News asked a reporter that question, he got this response, "The short answer is they print it up." The Federal Reserve actually orders the US Treasury to print certain numbers of each denomination at a time they choose. After it is printed by a US Government Agency, it then goes back to the Fed, the central bank and not a US Government Agency who then loans it back to the US Government, with interest. Yes, they do make lots of money doing that. Then of course exactly how, when, why is never to be disclosed because since 1913, the Federal Reserve has never been audited. Oh, but there is no conspiracy here. In 1992, even the elder Bush, Bill Clinton and Ross Perot all responded no to the question, "would you support an audit of the Federal Reserve? as it has never been audited".

When any money leaves the FED vaults rest assured they are loaning that money.

Not only do you the taxpayers have to pay for an excess of 100 Billion in pork to grease the bill through, but also there is still another 7-800 Billion in loans that will loaned from the Fed and then charged to the taxpayer. During the process most of the media positions the Federal Reserve as coming to the rescue, when it should be coming with heavier chains.
The body politic will mimic what Joe Biden said on Sept. 19th, the only way to get out of this financial mess is to raise taxes. The media focuses on extravagant CEO salaries, celebrity misbehavior, scandals and how the people have made bad decisions.

FORECAST for the US Economy. As Secretary of the Treasury, Henry "Hank" Paulson has already claimed money spent by the banks is not being properly monitored, so watch for this decision to come back to haunt Paulson. The walls of secrecy are high around this kind of money. Oh, but there is no conspiracy.

Paulson has proven he has powerful connections, he was formerly an executive with Goldman Sachs, the biggest investment bank survivor and now the strongest of only two left in the U.S. The beginning of 2008 had five investment banks in operation, the bad loans, elimination, home mortgage crisis has narrowed the field giving you less options.

Wherever the money goes for whatever reason will at best create only a temporary stimulus if any. Before the end of 2009 the inflation caused by pumping massive amounts of loaned cash into a corrupt system will expand. Look for further devaluation of the already besieged US dollar. Even this chimes in with the tales of global governance and the advent of a new currency for Canada, Mexico and the United States. There is a lot of conversation in groups watching the move toward a conversion to what we are told will be the Amero. This will be the new world order currency for the newly created North American Union. This will eliminate borders and any real checks on incoming immigrants, whether they have terrorist intentions or not. Of course that is not how those manipulating the masses will phrase it.

This conversion will leave the US dollar on par with the Mexican Peso and Canadian Loon. If people believe those in charge are actually performing any functions that will benefit the people of this country, ask yourself why are they simply pumping massive amounts of cash into the system, with little or no accountability? This easily translates to hype-inflation, ask those in Argentina, pre-war Nazi Germany how that works out.

Other keys to watch in contributing to this new North American Union is the development of the NAFTA Superhighway now going on in Texas. This massive highway system is three football fields wide and will come up thru Texas into Middle America all the way into Canada. Websites addressing the subject even mention three or four other highways to cover the east, west and southeast. Why have such a system if borders are to remain intact? This highway is quietly under construction now.

With increased trade routes open the hope is that people in America will buy more. Reality could turn this whole plan on its ear. There have been massive reductions in consumer spending in the US. CNN's Campbell Browns No Bias No Bull program held a quick eulogy over consumer spending during November thru December. The report was on Dec. 28, and the numbers showed a big drop. A 2.8% drop in consumer spending over the same period last year was indicated. Americans shared the silver lining in this dark cloud with the retail discounters, Wal-Mart and Target. Not since 1969 has America had a drop like this one said the reporter. The largest drops were in the luxury items, electronics and clothing.

The shockwaves of reduced consumer spending are already having an effect in China, India, Europe and other countries that do our manufacturing for the U.S. Layoffs worldwide have triggered unrest elsewhere as their number one cash cow is drying up.

On the bright side this could give rise to clever cottage industries across the US who will begin to manufacture goods in a small to medium way. One of the major forces that could help stimulate those business people is a relaxing of government regulation on small businesses. The US will likely be into economic survival mode. When the ship begins a serious slide into the ocean, you should not have to concern yourself with checking the shoe shine on your waiters. Will government bureaucracy, which usually runs wild in Democratic administrations, find a way to restrain itself from massive intrusion in the market place? The answer from my magic eight ball is Not Likely.

Solution for the regular hardworking American-Get as debt free as possible, as fast as possible. Stockpiling dry food, finding ways to create energy outside of normal methods and acquiring items which barter and trade well could make the difference between survival and disaster for you and your family. Precious metals, guns, ammo, property and food, networking with like-minded people are always good survival bets.

Be aware unemployment will continue to rise in the first half of 2009. According to the International Council of Shopping Centers around 73,000 retailers are planning to shut down. Burt Flickinger, Managing Director of the Strategic Resource Group, a retail industry consulting firm in New York, said in a Bloomberg radio interview, "There are a number of real causes for concern".

The Stock Market-The downward slide will continue early in 2009. Sure, it will come up periodically but the overall trend will put it down to 7,000 or perhaps as low as 6,500 on the DOW mark later in 2009. The stock market is like politics and consumerism in one critical way, it is driven by emotion. Once a stock is labeled as in trouble and the sell off begins, look out. The same holds true when people want to buy.

War, Terrorism, US Military and Globalism

As his own Vice President Joseph Biden said of President Obama, he will be severely tested. This reference was directed at those troublesome radical Islamic powers creating chaos in the U.S. This could easily mean a terrorist attack or attacks in many places at once on US soil. The object of terror is to spread fear. Fear is a choice; a pre-determined course of action to prevent such fear is also a choice.

Will the incoming administration engage in appeasement politics? Will the trigger be pulled on a terrorist attack? During the peak of the Vietnam conflict over 500,000 troops were stationed in and around the fray. Today we support less than 160,000 in Iraq and even less in Afghanistan. Worldwide we are in dozens of countries including Japan and Germany where we've been since WW II. The nature of our presence has changed there; we are certainly no longer occupation forces, but invited allies.

To misinterpret or underestimate the determination of terrorism will be the key to maintaining global control of many hot spots. If you want to know how determined the real terrorists are, get a hold of the book They Just don't Get It by Col. David Hunt. Hunt is a 30 year army vet with a lot of background in special operations. Perhaps the most revealing part of the book is the publication of the actual al Qaeda training manual captured by British Commandos in Afghanistan.

It is very likely that the Gaza Strip, Israel and Palestine, Iran and the entire Mideast will flame up with missiles, military incursions and higher body counts. The new Democratic administration will perform politiciously ( yes, a new word, meaning promising much but delivering very little)
Regardless of what Obama does, any allegiance or support for Israel will further incite violence against both countries, which will in turn create retaliation, which will just trigger more violence. The cycle needs to be broke. Methods used to date have a small degree of success, the problem needs to be addressed by an international community all on the same page, which is not very likely. Radical Islam refuses to recognize the right of Israel to exist and a contingent amongst Israel wants continued expansion into control of Islamic areas. Add to this whole scenario the scarcity of vital resources like water, jobs, economic stability and it would take a miracle to stop this powder keg from going off. Expect violence to increase in the Mid-East in 2009.

Iran's nuclear production facilities may be attacked by Israel. The use of limited biological or nuclear weapons is easily over 50%. Whichever side feels most desperate will likely choose to escalate the level of weapons. Israel is actually quite small with less than 7 million people. Their backs are to the sea, facing easily over 200 million Muslims. Not all are adversarial, but those that are not can be intimidated into silence by the force of those whose hatred can only be quenched by blood.

US and the World-The buzz words of the 1990's, the New World Order was quietly replaced by the media, government and corporations with the term Globalism. You will still find many skeptics about the benefits of so-called Globalism. Due to the Globalism that has transpired over the last 20 years much of the manufacturing capability of this country is either outsourced or diminished. Even by liberal estimates, according to a report on the left wing show Democracy Now, 30% benefited from NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) and 70% did not. That 70% were the workers, middle class, management etc. that were eliminated to outsource labor outside the U.S.
The idea that the U.S. was going make big money being an information age headquarters will just not pan out.

Globalism and the New World Order will begin to break out in earnest in 2009, these moves to total domination will not be easy for the general public to take. Those protesting or rioting will draw severe penalties and those willing to turn them in will get rewarded. You will see the official beginning of some type of reward system to turn in so-called dissenters. They will be profiled as law breakers, insurgents, and possibly domestic terrorists.

The system employed to eliminate these so-called rebels will be like the ones used in the past. We have seen this system in Nazi Germany, the old Soviet Union and Communist East Germany before the wall came down. The Stazzi, the official Secret Police of East Germany claimed that a full one-third of the people were reporting any suspicious activity seen from the other two-thirds. If you weren't paranoid in East Germany you really weren't aware. With rewards in place many believe suspicious activity in some cases may have been contrived to claim state rewards offered for turning in traitors to the cause of the people. If you don't think it could happen here, you have not read enough history. Try familiarizing yourself with the Philosopher Georg Wilhelm Frederich Hegel for instance. In short, for the elite to stay in control they need to get the public to accept the unacceptable. The Hegelian Dialectic as it is called was the way to compromise two complete opposites. These have been labeled the thesis and anti-thesis, the compromise is called the "synthesis" by Hegel.

The first team of Communism, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky both were financed by Wall Street and ushered into Russia through German lines to create the Bolshevik Revolution and end the war with Germany, which they did.. Many believe in order to fulfill their goals, they created the problem in the first place. To make that possible, they need to arrange the very problems, which will create the desire within the public for the path they want you to take. Such a path will only lead to less freedom and liberty. Such was the case in the creation of the Federal Reserve in America in 1913. To get a good brief on how it came about check out Jim Marrs book, rule by SECRECY, pages 59-89 for sure. The rest of the book fills out the complete picture of the many deceptions which have been believed by much of the general public. The people behind this are truly masters of words, influence and money.

Within the last fifteen years, Ruby Ridge, Waco, OK City bombing and 9-11 all have serious unanswered questions ignored by the government and most of the press. Expect more of the same incidents if there is further growth in the absence of leadership in investigating terrorism.

As Globalism gains further momentum there will be open discussions of changing or eliminating the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights in favor of what will be said to be a New, modern up to date Global Bill of Rights. Look for UN involvement on this work and that will mean Hillary Clinton. They may even give this new UN Bill of Rights one of those fancy Latin names or one that sounds so peaceful you will be ready to sign up for it without reading word one of the law. Excuse me, you probably won't have any choice in the matter anyway, it will bypass US law. 2009 will see increased testing of the public in accepting this new political abomination.

These Globalists have in their front sights eliminating private gun ownership as soon as possible in the U.S. Likely there will be very little ways to redress grievances with government, as the nature of this Global Bill of Rights will lean heavily toward an elitist brand of socialism. It will be about the state's rights not the individual.

What is happening today is the result of intense social engineering over the last two generations. The massive intrusion of monitoring with street cameras, a push to a cash free society, metallic strips in the cash (anything over a dollar bill) which can be read by the appropriate device, plus Radio frequency chips (known as RFID's) being put in clothing and other consumer goods all are indicators of just how extensive this monitoring effort is today. Chipping and monitoring is not just about marketing. The movie Enemy of the State with Will Smith and Gene Hackman presented just what that could mean. While critics had the audacity to say this technology does not exist, that was only official misinformation. The NSA in conjunction with Canada, Great Britain, Australia and New Zealand, launched Operation Echelon, which is a global monitoring of all electronic communications from over a dozen orbiting satellites. Oddly enough this kind of monitoring raised an uproar under the Bush Administration after 9-11, but the actual beginning of this system was in 1994, during the Clinton years.(see the article on this subject by the same author, concerns a Judges Wiretapping)

In spite of having all this technological capability the decision on what a particular cell phone, phone or transmission might mean still needs a human. As was evidence long before, during and after 9-11 political preference on interpretation of these communications will determine the course of action to be taken.

In the future look for increased application of cameras in the workplace, surveillance and critique of politically incorrect comments. You will rarely be alone anymore and it will all be done under the guise of "We're here to help you". The inclusion of politically incorrect words into the laws of hate crimes will be pushed in order to squelch sound arguments from dissenters. As you can see the US Bill of Rights has been cooked for a long time, it may not long before its done.

FORECAST on Actions to be taken in 2009-Be ready for a few shockers as the US Government puts the National debt closer to becoming unserviceable in the latter part of 2009. The result, increased control by the central bank Militarily, the United Nations will begin to try to recruit and assert it's global governance style worldwide. Hillary Clinton's State Department position will be a key to making this happen, which is why she settled for it in the first place. Her credentials here will be used to put her into a global government seat within the next 5 years. Why be president if you can be Queen of whole world?

Further evidence of the trappings of preparation for civilian unrest can be seen in military training, massive holding stations near railroad tracks with barbed wire fences sporting both that Y look designed for maximum security keeping people from getting in and keeping those in from getting out. Keep your eyes open and you may be surprised what you see.

Look for big moves toward the implanting of microchips in children for their safety. Others who will be targeted for implant will be those of ill health, those looking for convenience when they buy. Nothing will be said about the full potential of the implant. Many believe this human implant could also be used to remotely terminate the user. Whatever you choose to believe, this would be an ideal way to eliminate anyone deemed a threat by the reigning elitists or when enough are chipped, population control. Finally a push button population, only you will not have your finger on the button.

Do not worry; any attempt to make the chip mandatory in humans is unlikely in 2009. Within the next 5-10 years after being bombarded with the chips so-called advantages, who knows. Eventually, there will be a new reality show, something like, Saved by the Chip. The trusting and unthinking will line up like they do for flu shots to get one! Perhaps you will be enticed with $300 dollars in free groceries or a gift certificate from a fast food restaurant? At what price will people be willing to sell their lives into total submission? It will not likely become a law, but doing business or basic living functions can be made extraordinarily difficult without a chip. Those attempting to live without a credit card might be helpful to consult on this one, they already understand how to get around some obstacles.

Energy and the Transition from a Petroleum based Economy.
As American automakers line up to get cash injection to continue on the wrong path many ask the question Why? While the mainstream press attempts to divert your attention to the auto industry problems of benefits and payout structure for Union Workers or big bonuses for gluttoness Auto Execs, the solution to the problem is basic. Do we have in the United States of America the technology to offer a vehicle, which does not rely on petroleum in any way for fuel and maintains very similar performance characteristics of the current infernal combustion engine?

The short answer is YES.

You can journey back into time all the way to Nicola Tesla's electric car in the 1930's or to GM's version of the Electric car in the 1990's. It was called the EV1; it became popular with its efficiency, range and design. Demand grew enormously for the EV1 and then the factory was killed by GM, retooled to make the gas guzzling Hummer. In fact, several thousand of these working vehicles were actually scrapped while hundreds of people stood outside the fences wanting to buy them.

Why and how the unbelievable happened is chronicled in the documentary, Who Killed the Electric Car? It is found easily enough with a quick Internet search.

Aside from electric power, using electrolysis to separate hydrogen from water and burn it on demand has also been done. Can you imagine getting 200 miles with a pint of water or less? The actual claim and cars constructed with these devices can also be found on the Internet. Begin your journey with a search of HHO gas.

Such vehicles are making it out into public view, the 2008 Rose Bowl Parade had hydrogen powered vehicle cruising down the boulevard.

According to those experimenting with these devices it seems American Auto manufacturers have been getting prepared for this onslaught and have devised numerous computer obstacles to retrofitting vehicles with these devices. This will be overcome in time. The other alternative; get an older less complicated vehicle to retrofit. Keep one thing in mind the kind of vehicles we are recommending here will make hydrogen on demand, not use it from a large stored tank, which if properly ignited would be very dangerous, in fact downright terminal.

In the event you are one of those clever inventors who wants to tackle these problems it is advised to get as much info as you can from those who have already plowed the field. In the event you want to patent the device and mass manufacture it, the first stop it will make will be with the Department of Defense. Anything even remotely resembling a threat to national security, which could be redefined anytime, can be nixed.

Other prospects to watch revolve around electromagnetism and yes even anti-gravity. Expect the previous controlling energy regimes to govern the transition to their advantage by trying to get control of the new energy paradigm before it takes over.

The world, in particular the United States has been at this precipice before with a real energy alternative. Do explore the history behind Nicola Tesla, the man that gave us Alternating Current known as AC, his support by J.P Morgan, involvement with George Westinghouse and the free energy concept he had to offer the world, a truly amazing story, which has been intentionally deleted from most if not all school texts. The good news is that it still could be done if only we had leadership truly dedicated to the welfare of mankind.

The Energy Forecast-Look for gas prices to go up a bit after the Presidential Inauguration, perhaps as late as March or April if we are really lucky. The price will stay down if the oil producing nations and US politicians keep the taxes on gas down. The threat of transiting out of oil as the principle fuel will also help keep the cost per barrel down. Overall, until it comes time to drive in the Summer gas prices should stay under $3.50 a gallon.

In 2009 avoid getting involved in Ethanol, as this very costly substitute may have finally run its course. While legislation is in place to enforce 10% Ethanol in gasoline, the lower price of gas and alternative propulsion methods will derail this bad idea for good when gas goes back up later in 2009. Ethanol will still remain around in diminished quantities for the next year or two, it days are numbered. This should also help reduce the price of corn and that will affect worldwide trade with other countries for other staples like rice.

Science Medicine and Technology

The monstrous struggle continues between those practicing healing those practicing the business of selling medicine/pharmacology/surgery. It should be without saying that hospitals should be a place for healing the sick instead of being one of the leading causes of accidental death.
In 2009 there will be another concerted effort for Universal Health Care (UHC).

The idea to provide for all sick and injured is a good one, the execution of the idea with the right kind of health care will be the legs that make it work. Unfortunately, most of the incoming administrations and other politician's discussion focuses on how this health care is to be paid. There is little or no debate about what kind of health care that will be provided. The assumption is that it will be the same kind of medicine, surgery, pharmacological options that existed in the past. Are their alternatives? Do they work?

Let us paint a solution so different that it will take continued efforts by the people of this country to make it happen.

What if taking care of cancer, leukemia, heart disease and numerous other diseases was not the big ticket item it is today? Instead of racking up a bill of $250,000 a year to battle it with barely effective drugs, extensive surgery, what IF that battle cost was only $25,000 or less?

When you compare the U.S. to other countries health care standards you will find ours is constantly dropping.

In an Oct. 15, 2008 article in the International Herald Tribune (the Global edition of the NY Times) One of the key factors in assessing a nation's health care is reviewed. Just how well do you take care of the newborn. In 1960 The United States ranked 12th worldwide. We increased care to infants, more vaccinations and in 2006 we are now 29th?

This is in spite of our spending $6,714 per capita on health care, which is about twice as much as any other industrialized nation.

In 2000, 6.89 American babies per 1,000 were dying, in 2006, that number is 6.71, basically static. In Scandinavian and East Asian countries their rate is around 3.5 per 1,000, according to the Center for Disease Control in Atlanta, which came up with these numbers.

The Journal of American Medical Association ran an article on-line (www.health-care-reform.net/causedeath.htm)

The article by Dr. Barbara Starfield and assisted by Kah Ying Choo, disclosed the USA is 15th among the top 25 industrialized nations when all aspects of health care are considered. These figures came from the WHO (World Health Organization)

In America the top two killers are Heart Disease and Cancer. Care to guess the third? The Third greatest killer in America today is our own Medical Treatments. This has slain 225,000 in the past year. It breaks down like this:

How is this possible? All this capability and such a poor performance on delivery?

FORECAST for health care in the U.S. - Hospitals will continue to expand technology, import doctors and nursing shortages will grow. While the mainstream press does little to report the dangers of infection and accidental death in hospitals, these numbers will continue to rise. Dr. Gary Null, search Death by Medicine, puts this number of medical treatment deaths much higher.

The drug companies have proven themselves to be capable of corrupting every aspect of health care with biased studies, paid media misinformation and mountains of advertising of drugs for every pain or human malfunction. Those advertising dollars are increasingly powerful with newspaper, radio and TV, especially in times of recession/depression.

The trend toward complimentary or alternative cures will continue. In order to stem that tide more pharmacological intervention and pressure on the FDA to raid any successful practitioner of the non-invasive arts will actually rise. It has happened in the past and will grow in the future as big pharma corp. will feel increasingly threatened. Further pressure will be put on legislators to pass even more laws against the practice of any competitive medicine not under their roof.

Claims of cures to those so-called incurable diseases will make their way in the growing underground health market. Books, videos and personal testimonials will continue to light a path away from the very controlled mainstream medicine.

POSSIBLE BIG EVENT-A mega or Super killer virus will infect the general public. Such a virus will likely be blamed on birds, rats or some other animal. If you believe in what you are told, you will likely end up in a line to get a vaccination. Sadly, there will be no real guarantee it will help.

When AZT was offered to treat AIDS in Africa, many thought they were so lucky and blessed to get this help. SPACE the Final Frontier

Believe it or not there are still people out there who don't see the relevance or need for concern regarding extraterrestrial involvement in planet Earth. If you have satellite or cable you may have noticed UFO type shows have increased. Many of these shows also carry a much harder bit into reality versus the usual debunking fare which has inaccurately painted this phenomenon with giggles and nonsense in years past.

Depending upon which poll you see anywhere from 30-65% now see UFO's as real and a phenomenon worthy of serious coverage. By the way those ET's are rarely green.

When it comes to the kind of sociological and technological implications that could result from interaction from beings many millennia ahead of us the US Government has taken the lead role to date. Due to the advent of hand held video cameras, credible eyewitnesses willing to talk and public programming with good questions instead of poor debunking people are asking questions. Still the company line is being followed, "There is nothing to the UFO phenomenon, no threat to national security".

Many other countries patience with this company line appears to be eroding. Russia, France, Japan all are straining to overcome US roadblocks to disclosure. One roadblock believed to exist is the technology already recovered and employed militarily by the US. This top secret technology is way beyond the current known state of the art, which is already pretty tough to beat. That top secret stuff must really be a haymaker!

FORECAST from Space-2009 will still not see disclosure in the US. Other countries may perform their own limited disclosures, which will not be well covered if at all by US media. The wildcard in this scenario is any actual alien agenda of disclosure. Whatever the government says much be weighed against the many decades of previous deceptions. Believing in UFO's is no longer necessary, there is enough info available to make your own informed decision if you choose to.

Other SPACE possibilities- There are enough meteors, asteroids and even larger debris in space that eventually dear Terra Firma will met up with one of them.

Once identified as a threat destroying an incoming large asteroid presents many problems. What type is it? Porous, mostly metallic ore? Simply launching missiles without knowing could be disastrous. Since our official preparation and monitoring efforts for this event are practically non-existent there may not even be a warning issued.

With what we've heard from our secret bases, we are way past rocket propelled engines now, keeping up this illusion is just costing the taxpayers way too much money. Unfortunately, the options for real space travel won't be brought out in 2009 by the US. Maybe another country, say Japan?

Mother Nature, Global Warming

The impression given by most of the media, Al Gore and Company is that there is no longer a debate about Global Warming. This is still a half truth. There does seem to be consensus agreement that there is melting and warming around this planet. The actual cause of the warming being attributed to mankind is still very debatable. As other planets in our solar system are also heating up the focus of the principle cause, the Sun is escaping primary blame.

This debate will heat up as Global Warming Jihadists attempt to extract massive amounts of cash from already strapped Americans to reduce their carbon footprint. In the meantime countries whose carbon footprint is shooting through the roof, like China, seem to be escaping any global focus.

FORECAST of Mother Nature-Sometime in 2009 you can expect water levels to rise around the globe. This will result in a permanent capture of many low-lying areas. Florida with a good percentage of the state less than 100 feet above sea level is a prime candidate to get wet, along with
Bangladesh and islands in the Gulf, Caribbean and the Atlantic.

Volcanic activity around Yellowstone will increase in 2009 but not quite to cataclysmic levels. This less severe activity will help let off a bit of steam delaying the much larger release of the massive magma pocket under much of the area. There have been several prediction of the eruption of a super volcano underneath Yellowstone. The volcanology is present for this and while it may not happen in 2009, it is coming.

Massive earthquakes should take place again, with at least one or two in America. Casualties in America will be larger after these quakes due to response time, aftershocks and chaotic response by civilians. Government response will again not be up to the task.

Preparation for large-scale disasters will still be found to be a weakness with state and Federal authorities.

Conclusion
All this confusion, managed by incompetent leadership, with simply printed money is a recipe for disaster anyway you can spell it.

FORECAST-New leaders and few unheard of names will come to the forefront, there will be civil unrest, protests. Changes are inevitable, we must adapt and persevere as it will make us stronger.

Above all, we need to talk to each other, take out the I-pod and borg-like cell phone from the ear for awhile. Try and learn what people are thinking, get to find out if we are thinking. Discover yourself and the world around you and then learn how to conquer yourself and adapt to that new world that is coming.
