The Unlikely Inked: 10 Surprising Tattooed Celebrities

It looks like perennial good girl Jennifer Aniston is taking a ride on the wild side. Not only is she dating man-bear Justin Theroux and showing a sassier, spunkier side of her typically understated self, but she's also gotten herself inked for the first time. The "Horrible Bosses" star recently revealed the tat, which is located on the inside of her right foot and spells out the name Norman in remembrance of her beloved departed pooch. But the former Rachel Greene isn't the only ostensibly clean-cut celebrity gal who's opted for permanent body art. Here's a look at other unlikely inked stars and the cute little roses, hearts and tramp stamps that adorn their once-pristine bods.

Adriana Lima

The attractive Brazilian brunette adds a shake of spice to her trips down the Victoria's Secret catwalk courtesy of a tribal-inspired tattoo located on the inside of her left ankle.

Miranda Kerr

Adriana isn't the only Victoria's Secret gal sporting ink. Fellow Angel Miranda --who welcomed baby Flynn with hubby Orlando Bloom back in January-- has a white star on her wrist.

Sandra Bullock

Ex-hubby Jesse James and his current squeeze Kat von D may own the lion's share of ink when it comes to this unhappy trio, but Sandra's got body art of her own: A tattoo over her heart that reminds the Oscar winning actress of her late mother.

Lea Michele

"Glee" good-girl Rachel Berry is no newbie when it comes to tattoos: Lea's been inked a whopping nine times. Her tats include musical notes, a bird, a gold star and the word 'imagine', among others.

Lauren Conrad

The reality star, author and fashionista sports two tattoos: The letter L (for Lauren, of course, though it was originally a J in honor of ex-boyfriend and fellow "Laguna Beach" star Jason Wahler) on her lower abdomen, and the words 'sticks and stones' across her lower back. Now there's an innovative idea for a tramp stamp.

Jessica Alba

She may look like your adorable little sis at first glance, but the innocent "Dark Angel" has an edge that includes multiple tats, including a ladybug and flower on the back of her neck and and a Sanskrit character meaning lotus flower on her wrist.

Mandy Moore

The singer and actress has an itty bitty heart tat on the second toe of her right foot that she had done in 2004. Inucuous enough, right? Well, she also has a sperm tattooed on her foot. Now that's unique.

Helen Mirren

Yes, that Helen Mirren. The Academy Award winner has a small design on her left thumb that she had done while "very, very drunk" long ago. Now, she's "utterly disgusted" by the artwork, but not because of its existence: The actress is upset that having tattoos is now "mainstream".

Sarah Michelle Gellar

The Vampire Slayer turned mama to one has gone under the needle more than once. In fact, she sports at least three tattoos, including a heart and dagger on her ankle and the Chinese symbol meaning integrity on her back.
