The Unwelcome Visitor

Jill Davidson

Satan knocked on my door,
but I wouldn't let him in.
"You must go away now,
I refuse to live with sin!"

So he snuck in through the window
and made himself at home.
"I told you, you're not welcome here!
You must leave me alone!"

The devil is persistent,
he knows what man desires;
But better to live Jesus' way
than cast into the fire.

There are two paths that we can take,
and one leads to the grave.
The other to eternal life,
and that's the one I crave
