If you've played the Sims games in the past for Xbox, Gamecube, or Playstation 2, you're going to have a major awakening when you pop the Urbz into your system.
Sure you move around like the first Sims as well as the second one, but the entire game play is outrageously awesome. This is a must purchase game to add to your Xbox, Gamecube, or Playstation 2 collection.
No more does your Sim go to work while you just sit there and wait. In The Urbz: Sims in the City you are there. You do the work. Yes it may not be hard work, but it is work for your fingers when you have to push the right button X, A, or Y, in order for your Sim to produce the right amount of product so they will in turn get paid so that they can spruce up their apartment and get some new jamming threads to help increase their reputations.
In order to succeed in this game you have to build up your reputation within each area of the city that you venture to. The higher your rep, the more areas that open up and the more secrets you will earn.
Style is another area that you'll focus on. This is a whole new take on a Sims game. You dress those around you and your rep should be smoking along with your threads.
Each area in the city has a different set of threads to be worn. You bounce into the clothing shop in that area and purchase the threads that will help you to fit in with the rest of the Sims in that area.
There are shops all over the city just to meet your every need. You need a new TV to entertain your Sim, well all you have to do is find one of those cash registers and start shopping. In this game you can work and live in the city 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
There are many different ways to improve your mood, hunger, entertainment, and your energy levels unlike in the previous versions of the Sims.
Redbull vending machines are placed all around you and unlike the previous games where you drink some coffee for a few minutes of revival; Redbull gives you wings in a matter of speaking. Your energy level goes up so that you can keep living and not have to run to catch some ZZZZ's.
The game play in The Urbz: Sims in the City is gives a whole new outlook on any Sims game. The social interactions are unbelievable. Everything that you do, say, or wear affects everything else around you as to the way the other Sims will perceive you and your actions.
There is one thing that would make this game even more awesome than it already is would be taking it online. Oh yeah, playing with other Sims, being buds and hanging out with Sims from all over the world. Let's make it a lot more real than it already seems. Come on Microsoft; take it to the next level!
