The Vampire Diaries Season 1 Episode 1 "The Pilot"

The episode starts with a couple driving down a foggy road, they hit a guy and the body is lying on the ground.
Darren gets out of the car while his girlfriend is trying to call for help from her cellphone. As he leans over the body, he is grabbed and bitten. His girlfriend gets out of the car and states she can't get a signal. All of a sudden Darren's bloody body lands on top of the car. She starts to run.. and you can figure out what I'm gonna say next.

We meet Jeremy and Elena, brother and sister, who are living with their Aunt Jenna because their parents died.
It's their first day back to school at Mystic Falls High School. Bonnie, Elena's friend, is driving them to school when a crow hits the windshield. Elena states she has to stop being afraid of being in a car. Bonnie claims she is psychic.

Elena sees Matt her ex boyfriend she broke up with standing at his locker. She tells Bonnie he hates me. Everyone is coming up to Elena and asking her if she's okay and she replies fine.

A guy is standing in the school office with shades on, the receptionist tells him we need transcripts they are not here.
The new guy tells her to look again, and she says "you're right they are here."

Elena follows her brother Jeremy into the boy's bathroom, accuses him of being stoned. Tells him he's not this person. Jeremy storms out that he doesn't need this. Elena comes out of the bathroom and runs into the new guy.
He asks Elena isn't this the boy's room she says I was just... long story.

During class Elena catches him staring at her in class. Bonnie texts her to say hottie is staring at you.

Next we find Elena at Mystic Falls Cemetery leaning up against a tombstone writing in her diary. She writes that everyone asked if she was fine like 37 times and that she didn't mean it. Fog rolls in and a crow lands on her parents tombstone. She waves the crow away and it comes back. Someone is in the fog. She runs and falls.

You guessed it, runs into the new guy. He asks if she is okay? He states that he is there because he has family buried there. He introduces himself as Stefan. She notices his ring and he states that it is a family ring. He asks if she is okay she lifts her pant leg and there is blood. Stefan turns away and his eyes darken. He tells Elena "you should go away". She turns around and he is gone.

Stefan is writing in a journal how he lost control and is not able to resist her.

Vicki a waitress, and drug user is approached by Jeremy. She tells him that they only hooked up in a drug daze and not to mess up things for her and Tyler.

Elena is getting ready to go out with friends as she opens the door, Stefan is standing there. He apologizes to her for disappearing. She asks him how did you know where I lived. He said he asked the first person he saw.
He wants to go into the house but can't. Elena invites Stefan to go with her. He tells her you forgot something and hands her green diary .He tells her I didn't read it, I know I wouldn't want anyone reading mine.

Matt sees Elena and Stefan walk in, Stefan tells how his parents died and he doesn't have any siblings he talks to. Matt is told by Bonnie to give Elena more time.

It hits the newspapers that a body was found mutilated by an animal. Stefan is accused by Zack, his nephew.
Why did you come back? Stefan states I don't have to explain myself to you.

He opens a cabinet full of journals pull ones out and there is a photo of a Katherine 1864 and Elena looks just like her.

At a bonfire party, Stefan can hear voices from far distances. Bonnie grabs the beer that Elena is holding, and there is like a jolt, Bonnie tells her I saw a crow, fog and a man. I'm drunk.

Stefan approached Elena you look upset? She tells him to forget it and she's glad he is there.

Vicki goes off with Tyler into the woods.

Elena tells Stefan about her parents that last Spring their car went off a bridge, into the water, she was in the backseat, she survived, they didn't. Stefan assures her that she won't be sad forever.

Ty and Vicki are making out she tells him no, he get's a bit rough, Jeremy tells him to leave her alone and she pushes Tyler away. Vicki takes off.

Elena tells Stefan that her and Matt were childhood friends, and dated but that there was no passion. She notices his eyes change color and Stefan goes to get a drink.

Vicki is walking in the woods, fog rolls in and she is attacked, bitten.

Elena is approached by Matt who tells her I know you broke up with me, but I'm not giving up on us.
Carolyn, another friend to Elena wants Stefan and has been following him around, Stefan tells her at the party that it's not gonna happen between us.

Elena goes after Jeremy who is drunk in the woods. Jeremy trips over Vicki's body. Vicki screams and they call an ambulance. Stefan goes home and tells Zach about the attack and said it wasn't me.

A crow flies in the window. Someone is behind him. Stefan says Damon. Damon says "Hello Brother."
We find out that it's been 15 years since they've seen each other. Stefan tells Damon you left her alive. He says that will be a problem for you. Starts a confrontation about how Stefan only eats squirrels, how Elena looks like Katherine, don't you crave her? The brothers get in a fight, Stefan gets bloody eyes and attacks they go through the window and land on the ground.

Stefan tells Damon people die whenever you are around. That he can't allow it. Damon replies I promised you an eternity of misery. Damon notices Stefan's ring is missing. Tells him when the sun shines you will be ashes. Laughs and hands him his ring. Damon grabs Stefan by the neck and throws him. Tells him never think you are stronger than me.

Carolyn is upset that Stefan doesn't want her. That people always pick Elena. She is jealous.

Vicki wakes up and whispers ....

Elena and Stefan are writing in their journals, how bad stays with you and you can't escape it. But want to feel good she looks out her window and sees Stefan outside. He tells her that he wanted to make sure she was okay. I tell people I'm fine, he asks do you mean it? She replies ask me tomorrow? Come in the house and we can talk.
He gets his invitation in.

Damon is smiling at Carolyn at the restaurant.....
