The Very Best Xbox Games Still Worth Playing

C.B. Jones
Microsoft's original Xbox gaming system was Cadillac of consoles. I mean that in the literal sense. It weighed about as much as a cadi, and you looked cool riding in one if you bothered to put wheels and an engine in in. I'm told that most people used it strictly for playing video games. For all the squares who don't dig alternate forms of transportation, this list of the best Xbox games still worth playing is for you!

M.A.M.E.
The ability to mod the original Xbox is still one of it's strong suits when it comes to replayability. If you're a fan of arcade games, installing an emulator such as M.A.M.E. is an absolute must. you can go from playing Rampage one minute, to Puzzle Fighter, 19XX, R-Type, and even Metal Slug. All without having to deal with that weird smelly kid hanging out hear the Slurpee machine, picking his nose while watching you intently.

Burnout 3.
If you suck at racing games, and hate Gran Turismo because it lacks anything remotely related to real world driving physics(Meaning: when you hit a wall going 100 mpg, it tebds to mess up the car in such a way that things crumple, and even fall off sometimes,) then Burnout 3 is for you. Crash Mode lets you set up over-the-top, blockbuster movie style explosions using whatever vehicle you're driving as the detonator, and every other vehicle in the area as the dynamite. Sound fun, huh? It's also Xbox 360 compatible.

The House of the Dead III.
Blah, blah, blah. this is the well known series where you use a light gun to kill zombies. Blah, blah blah. Story doesn't matter. You get to kill zombies! There's really nothing I or a more accomplished writer could type that would do justice to the House of the Dead series. This game is Xbox 360 compatible as well, so grab yourself an Arsenal Assassinator controller, and shoot the crap out of those undead goobers!

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II.
KotoR is the same way. It doesn't matter what I have to say about it, people will still profess an undying love for anything Star Ways related. I think the franchise should be left a lone for a while(to die peacefully), but this particular game is a gem. Oh how I wish the force choke were some kind of martial arts technique I could learn within the first six minutes of karate class.

Dance Dance Revolution ULTRAMIX 4.
DDR games have been surpassed in popularity by the guitar game genre. If you enjoy working up a sweat by flailing your extremities in patterns that don't even remotely resemble present world dance steps, than you have to get this game. It's not playable of the Xbox 360. But if you were a fan of this series at one point, you probably already have the dance mat somewhere in your basement collecting dust or something. Go see if it still words.
