The View's Room-a-Day Giveaway

With the View and Stacy DeBroff

Beth Inman
The View, the 10-year-old talk show that everyone has been talking about, has teamed up with best-selling author Stacy DeBroff, and Kimberly Clark, to offer a $25,000 room makeover to 16 lucky winners.

Veteran journalist, Barbara Walters founded the View in 1997, and appears on the show now, an average of three days per week. Rosie O'Donnell is the one that brought The View to front and center with her outspoken personality. Ms. O'Donnell left the show in 2007, and was replaced by Whoopie Goldberg as show moderator.

Hosted by five women, Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, Barbara Walters, Sherri Shepherd, and Elisabeth Hasselbeck, the show centers around them as they engage each other in "around the table" talk about various subjects such as beauty tips, fashion, celebrities, what's new in dieting and of course the all popular subject, relationships. The View is also a great way to get your daily take on the national news. The View celebrated its 2000th show on February 2, 2006, and is now in its 11th season on the ABC Television Network.

Stacy DeBroff has joined The View in promoting this giveaway. Ms. DeBroff is the founder of Mom Central and has written numerous books about parenting. Check out theDeBroff debrief web site and join Club Mom for advice, humor, and fellowship.

What do you do to enter this contest? Simple. Go to the Kimberly Clark RoomADay website and fill out the entry form. Then watch the View every day 11am ET on ABC to see if you are one of the sixteen winners of the $25,000 room makeover.

The View should call my name out as a winner, and hopefully they will because I just filled out an entry form. Why, you ask, should they pick me? Because I am tired and I have run completely out of decorating ideas. I have an awesome, four season, glass sunroom that has turned into a storage room / junk room. This room has been an overflow living room, a dining room for holidays, and exercise room, you name it, it has happened in this room. The room is a 16'X24' room with sliding glass doors all around.

We can't use the room because it gets too much sun in the summer and is just too hot. It gets too much glare from the snow in the winter. I need help. I don't know what to do to make this a useable room. I love the windows, and don't want to loose the view because our property is lovely. The house is only 7 years old, so $25,000 would go an awful long way in turning this into a spectacular room. I have six married children and sixteen grandchildren, even though I am quite young! I need a room! I need to turn this room into a space we can use for family gatherings or just to have room to spread out and play games or simply hang out.

I love this show.I feel all the girls work good together . They each have their own opinions and I feel they respect each other. This is a country with freedom of speech and this show proves it. I love all your shows and keep up the great work.

Love watching your show. We have a full bath upstairs in our 80 year old home. Some days it is hard for me to climb up steps to shower. I have a condition called Fibromyalgia which limits my abilities to do many things in my every day life. A full bath down stairs would be a dream.
