On the outside, these apartments look similar to town homes with doors that open on the outside of the building and lead directly to individual apartments. There isn't a lobby for visitors to hang out in or anything like that. Centered in a quaint neighborhood on the boarder of Haddonfield, NJ and Barrington, NJ, The Vilage at Haddonfield provides an experience of bougeosie life. There are many mansions located in the neighborhood and a nice outdoor shopping area close by where you can do many things. You can ride the Patco train to Philadelphia or buy a unique prom dress that no one is going to have. You can shop at the local Acme, Cvs and even get your own bougeousie groove on in Starbucks. There's even a Coldstone icecream parlour in town.
The town house looking apartments provide a back drop for lush green court yards that after going on for many feet, reach a street quiet enough for children to play by. Near the apartments is an elementary school where the kids are either very quiet or the school is far enough away. I never hear any noise coming from the school.
The Village at Haddonfield has various types of apartments. I live in a two bedroom. The Village has carpeted and hardwood floors. The floor of my apartment is hardwood.
Inside, the apartment is a good size wth white walls that you can paint as long as you make them white again upon your departure. The apartments come unfirnished and a two bedroom has one large master bedroom and a smaller bedroom that is about half the size of the first bedroom. The smaller room can fit a queen size bed, two dressers and a night stand.
The hardwood floor in my apartment is nice, but it could use some work. Unfortunately, the model we were shown before selecting the apartment, was a carpeted apartment. I assumed that hardwood floors meant that the Village at Haddonfield would have beautiful shining hardwood floors like the kind seen on tv.
As far as my apartment goes, the floors are just not very shiny. There are places on my floor in particular where it lookslike the floor has been badly faded or damaged by previous tenants. This problem is not found in all of the hard wood floored apartments because when glancing at an apartment below us, I noticed that the floors were beautiful, just as expected. Therefore, before you move in, you may want to tell the landlord to glance at the floors and let you know if they are what you imagine when you hear the word "hardwood" floors.
The two bedroom apartments at the Village at Haddonfield come with a washer and dryer, and the only utility I have to pay is electric. The staff here is very nice. They have perfomed some electrical inspections and upkeep, and there is even a five day grace period when paying the rent.
Overall, I love living at the Village at Haddonfield. Excluding the hardwood floor topic, this place is absolutely beautiful. The environment is quiet, peaceful, and picturesque. Who could complain when they have their own washer and dryer? The rent is very affordable too. Its eight twenty five a month for a two bedroom. Split between two people, that is a little over four hundred dollars to live in a complex surrounded by mansions. It's great, and I enjoy every minute here.

Post a CommentThis fact has set the world's average paper consumption at 123 pounds of paper per person each year.
This average is causing one billion trees to be cut down each year to satisfy the world's paper demand. Global Warming Initiatives is only expecting this number to grow in future years causing more harm to the environment. Besides the aesthetically pleasing benefit of trees, they impact the Earth in some major ways:
- Trees remove 100 to 120 billion tons of carbon each year from man-made sources like (cars, trains, planes, etc)
- Trees moderate climate, improve air quality, conserve water and also harbor wildlife
- Trees cut down energy costs- air conditioning and heating costs are lower in shaded areas. The less energy used by consumers the less CO2 emissions in the atmosphere
From a young age we were all taught to not be wasteful; to not waste paper, water, and food. We heard this from our parents, our teachers, and even our friends. Little did we know that we grew up learning one of the most valuable lessons before it was cool to "be green". This lesson is even more crucial to live by today.
Trees are the most important natural resource we have, supplying us with oxygen while eliminating CO2 levels from the atmosphere. According to a study "Helping Companies Reduce Greenhouse Gases" by James DeRosa, Director of Research and Development for Global Warming Initiatives, Inc., there are one billion people worldwide that attend work in an office environment everyday. We are all guilty of tossing paper out before both sides are used, rewriting a letter/note more than once, and/or printing an article before we knew we needed it for long term use. One ream of paper equals five pounds. The average world office employee uses around 7 reams of copy paper each year.
11/8/2011.. I've lived here for 35 years, seen allot of changes and it has been a good Ecosystem until recently. They removed allot of bushes and They keep cutting down trees around where I live for no apparent reason grinding them up into woodchips killing them.... Its now a dead silence and I don't hear the birds singing or the squirrels chirping wildlife sounds gone the air changed... and feel like there killing mother nature. They cut down a giant oak tree a couple of years ago and in the past week they cut down a giant pine tree that must have been at least a hundred years old that had allot of wildlife living in it birds, bee hives, etc.
"Save the trees… save the world!"
