The Void
I see you leaving me, out here on my own.
With words left untouched, no spark to get them going.
Just when that dark curtain was starting to open.
It closed again, hidden from view.
Now there is emptiness.
A hollow sound echoes within the chasms of my heart.
That wanting that is never returned.
A void with the spans of life, is now with me.
