The war drums scream
Out to the world and
You wait,
You wait.
They're heralds for
The unknown fights and
You wait,
You wait.
Just skin on gourds
Beating blood to the streets,
Sending rhythms of Death
Pulsing under the weak,
Addled hands pounding down
To erroneous beats and still
You wait,
You wait.
The war drums scream
Out to the world and
You wait.
